Konica Minolta magicolor 2550 has crisp text. Excellent build. Low purchase price for what you get. Speedy output. It's not the worst printer I have owned, but it isn't the best, either. It's noisy in a small office environment and the replacement-toner costs are far too steep. Output quality is excellent, especially text. Colour photos are surprisingly good, too, on plain paper, although that's not the primary purpose of a colour laser. Expense of consumables and the poor print alignment mean ...

I have the Konica Minolta magicolor 2550DN version which is optimised for photographs complete with 256meg ram and a duplex feeder. I have owned this now for 2 years for home use and run about 2500 pages so far - most being proofs for photographs.
I have recently got some banding issues which I cannot correct nor have I had any response back from Konica Minolta which is disheartening.
Price of consumables (high yield - 4500 pages) together with a new drum actually costs more than a brand new pri ...

Once installed it works very well. The toners last for a long time. Anything goes wrong you are on your own. It is a shame that technical support does not match with the warranty offered. In practice you only have the manual and the site troubleshooting. The price of three toners and the drum is equivalent to a new laser printer. With no support you need to simply through it away and buy a new one.

It is a good quality laser printer which provide very good print of digital photos. newsletter .It works without problem. Support from minolta is good and prompt
Once set up it works very well. It comes with high density toners which last for a year or so. The replacement of toners and drum . cost the same as a new laser printer

Good print quality, fast and reliable. Install is quite poor, good printer otherwise. However I do not recommend Konica Laser Printers, I feel I have experienced no google help, no help from Konica and the Doc have more value in fuel for heating your home than anything else I feel therefore do not recommend Minolta magicolor 2550.
