Good Points: Well acted
Bad Points: Way to long, nearly bored me to tears!!
General comments: There Will Be Blood Review - I was aware when i went to watch this film that it had won many awards, and for the acting quality you can see why, however it largely fails for me as the story line was uninteresting and very long!Otherwise i think it could have been so much better!

This film is boring and over-rated. The story has so much more potential and could have been covered in half the time. The ending was predictable to some extent.
On the positive side the acting was excellent. I don't know why some directors feel they have to over-play the drama though. Could have been much better with a better director.

I enjoyed this film and glad I watched it on the big screen rather than wait for it to come out on DVD. Everything seemed more dramatic and striking, such as the danger involved in drilling for oil, the explosions and the scenery it was set amongst. I would recommend There Will Be Blood for a number of reasons; the leading actor was a joy to watch, the supporting characters were intriguing and it was a film that touched on different aspects of our lives. Loneliness, greed and relationships.
