    Good Points: Loved the stay here from start to end. When you're on a business or social trip for a few days and you'd love to stay right in the centre of town then this Hilton is for you. You're on the doorstep of all the major galleries, museums, shopping centres and outdoor markets. Although I didn't stay there during one of the festivals, I'd love to go back for new year as you're right near old town square where they have all the fireworks going off.


    Bad Points: Something so small, they didn't have any copies of the Times that I expected. I asked and someone had removed it. It's such a small thing it's not really a BAD POINT.


    General comments: The rooms are what you'd expect from a Hilton, along with the service, that I couldn't really fault. I was welcomed and given help with directions from my car by a helpful person at reception. Despite its central, central location, within the hotel it's very quiet. There's aircon, minibar etc within the room. The working desk was a healthy size and there was a place to put my laptop - they've a laptop safe. There's wifi access, so really you can't ask for more.If you're working to a deadline - like I was, then there's 24 hour room service and they'll get you anything from the restaurant. Still, it's nice going to a 5 star hotel and dressing casual after a working 18 hours! I was impressed by Gordon's Maze restaurant which is adjoined to the hotel. I've written a review about this elsewhere so I won't repeat myself.The breakfasts are very huge, I recommend upgrading to the "Breakfast". You'll be running around on this all day. During the colder months, like when I went, I was thankful I ate something as hearty as this!One evening I went to the Palladium. Despite it's name it's not a nightclub - it's the largest shopping prescient or shopping mall in the country.
