Good Points: Superb clarity and neutrality - work particularly well with classical music, folk music, jazz where detail and nuance are of the essence.
    Look wonderful!

Bad Points: Require a phenomenal amount of amplifier power to deliver any convincing bass (though they are fully capable of doing so), Top end can be a little hard.

General comments: I have owned these for around 3 years and demo'd many comparable price speakers before settling on them. I am using a hybrid valve preamp, and two massive Bryston monoblock amps to drive the speakers. These can take as much power as you can throw at them. I don't find positioning particularly critical - having spent the usual hours fiddling around at a metre out from the wall, I then one day had to push them back temporarily to make room for a party and found they worked just as well at half that distance. I have never been quite happy with their performance on rock - the bass still isn't there, and they can get shouty. However, on classical music they are superb and deliver a convincing sense of scale that I have struggled to find elsewhere.
