    Good Points: Clean, good instructors, good equipment, generally friendly staff


    Bad Points: Terrible parking situation that is only getting worse with Ballard's rampant and sudden overpopulation. The lots that are close to the club are always packed. Parking in outer lots is not well lit if lit at all. Many of the lots feel unsafe esp. for females.

    Is the club's expansion plan truly a solution? I think not. Does Ballard need an athletic club hotel? Will the extra parking they provide with the hotel be enough to accomodate the increased member #'s that accompany the expanded gym facilities? I think not. OAC has added numerous lots in the last few years and there is less available and safe parking in club lots than ever.

    Members are paying a premium to belong to a club with a focus that seems to be all about increasing membership #'s and profit.


    General comments: The community feeling of this gym has been lost . To a large extent it has been replaced by a selfish sentiment in which individual need strump the rights and enjoyment of other gym goers. The staff, including instructors, need to face up to the problems that the money-hungry management has created by overenrolling. Staff and instructors need to enforce club rules and general club etiquette though they seem reluctant to do so. Don't bother joining this gym or even moving to Ballard as both are over-priced and over-rated!
