I ordered 4 items, 2 of which came on time and as ordered. One of the others is discontinued, fine. The 4th item is listed as out of stock, but it is not the item I ordered and I do not want the substitute item they have listed on my invoice. The order was correctly placed and I have the original confirmation to prove it. When the order came, I tried to call the contact number but only get an answering machine. I could not find an email address for them at any of their websites. I would not order from them again.

I wanted to buy something that has recently gone out of production. Very few people list it. Internet Hobbies listed the item on their website so I ordered it. They sent me an email that it would ship in a few days. The phone numbers on their website lead to answering machines that no one checks. I waited 3 weeks before I found a regular phone number for them and reached someone.

i put a order in with Internet Hobbies for 5 kits all together before i read all the reviews here. normally i buy from squadron mail order. i received two emails saying all times would ship in 2 - 3 days. my bank statement showed about 80 dollars billed to me for the website. after a week of no emails or anything i sent a message and a hour later receive information about billing. to my surprised my package arrived in 24 hours after being mailed the day before. i received only 2 of the 5 items i ...

Internet Hobbies put erroneous charges on my credit card. Took months to get it removed. Poor customer service. They don't respond to emails. Will never buy from them again.

Had a problem in obtaining the discount as advertised. I was lucky enough to speak to the owner today though. He apologized and refunded the discount even as we spoke on the phone. The prices are good and this was only the first time I had an issue with them, so I guess I would try Internet Hobbies again now for my model railroad needs. Thanks!

Internet Hobbies has been offering discounts of 10% and 5% more if you use PayPal. However, despite putting in the correct discount code in the correct spot, I never got a discount at all. When I called about it, I was told it was an over sight and to expect a credit. That was two weeks ago. I have emailed and called several more times. I have left my phone number. I am told Accounting has to issue the credit. But they are never in and never call back.. The customer service is just terrible. Can ...

Don't fall for their "sales" or "discounts". They will bill you the regular price and then forget to credit you with the discount balance. The customer service is totally non-responsive. They just ignore messages and emails. I refuse to buy from Internet Hobbies anymore.

I wished I had checked out internet hobbies here before buying from them. It has been over a week, when I call I get a song and dance. I will not be doing business with them again. I strongly recommend that no one buy from them, and anyone who says they have been doing business with them for six years is a liar.

I have ordered from a dozen different hobby shops around the country spending thousands a year. Internet Hobbies is the WORST place I ever had to deal with. They put unauthorized charges on my credit card and did not respond to the issue. I had to get it resolved with the credit card company which is the first time in 20 years I had to file a fraud report. Check the BBB for complaints against the outfit and you will see what I mean.

Internet Hobbies' customer service sucks. I got one email for the confirmation of the order with promises of more emails once it has shipped. I waited a week, no emails. So I emailed their customer service (several times) no response. After a week and a half I finally called them and the person was not very polite. He told me they were waiting on a part. Well why didn't they email me this? They said they were shipping 2-3 days! Finally after over 2 weeks it is being delivered. I just hope everyt ...

I placed my first order with Internet Hobbies on Feb. 13th . The package came in about 4-5 days which is good, But 3 of the 4 parts i ordered were missing from the package and they were charged to my cc. There was no backorder. After numerous e-mails I still do not have my parts . Their customer service stinks!! I am probably going to have to call my cc co. and file a dispute of charges claim against them.

I placed my 1st order with Internet Hobbies on Feb13 . Package came 4-5 days later ,which is good, But it was missing 3 out of the 4 items that i ordered. After numerous e-mails I still don't have my parts yet!! My cc was charged for the parts and there was no back orders. I guess i am going to have to file a dispute of charges with my cc co. to get this resolved. I would not do business with them again!!!

I recently purchased a plastic model of a hard to find fighter jet from Internet Hobbies. The purchase price was in line with the marketplace. The shipping was a little higher than I expected for such a light package. However, I received exactly what I ordered, it was in perfect condition, and it actually arrived 3 days before the estimated delivery. I would recommend Internet Hobbies as an online store.

I was at first suspect with placing an order with this company; however, after one or two emails back and forth they seemed both interested and willing to accept my order. There was some slight problem in getting the shipping cost right, in seeing that as I was in the UK, I duly placed my order and was not to be disappointed upon it arrival yesterday. Many thanks and I will when the need arises I will both promote in both mentioning and recommending and not think twice about contacting this comp ...

99% of the times I shop from a different store, however, sometimes I can't find what I am looking for in any other store and end up shopping in here. They are always the last place I check for the item I am looking for.

Internet Hobbies had made a mistake on a price on their online store, and they weren't very helpful when I called to check on the order. I actually talked to the owner who agreed to cancel my order due to their mistake. However, the order was not cancelled and I was charged anyway. Their prices are not as low as they claim. I would recommend Standard Hobby Supply. I have always had good experiences with them, and they have really good prices.
