Their prices are fairly cheap compared to other bike websites, but you get what you pay for with CRC

I've been using CRC for about 5 years and for the last 3 years or so it's been alright, stuffs arrived on time and been very happy till now.

These last few months, there's been no end of problems with dispatch time and customer service
CRC says, if you order before 3pm, the order will be dispatched the same day if the items are in stock.
(obviously this isn't the case if you order after 3pm, on a weekend or on a bank holiday)

Their customer service stinks.
The phone rings constantly and if you send an email, expect a reply within the week.
Normally you get an ar*sy reply from Andy@CRC who does not pose any people skills, which you'd thought is a must working within customer services.

If anyone is reading this, I'd recomend wiggle.co.uk or your LBS over CRC just purely for customer service, dispatch time and you won't have to deal with Andy@CRC!!!

it's all gone pete tong!
seem like a good deal at first with competitive priced products, reasonably well set out website and that all inportant free (fast) delivery. But as usual there is always a catch.
I've order a number of items from CRC over the last few months but my latest purchase has left me wondering how "valued" the customer is? Ordered a long sleeve jersey, and some other bits, but on arrival the contents of the bag labelled "long sleeve" was actually a "short sleeve". okay no bi ...

i have used chain reaction several times, they have a huge range of products, though not always in stock. cheapest prices i could find anywhere. excellent free delivery, everything i have ordered has been delivered within 3-5 days, depending on day ordered.(even during the royal mail strikes). never had any problems so cant comment on customer service. overall very impressed. recommended.

Well I have used CRC before in the past and they were ok but it seems to have all gone wrong.

I have ordered a set of bars on the sale after a week I chased them up with an email and then suddenly they canceled the order. Got the money back about a week later. I ordered a second set of bars assuming it was a simple error, they sent me the right bars in the wrong size. So I sent these back for exchange and then chased them after a few days, got the response the bars you ordered are not available ...

Ordered on a Saturday before a bank holiday. I received an email at 08:20 on the following Tuesday to say the goods had been dispatched. The goods arrived 10:00 Wednesday. Fast & faultless service from Chain Reaction Cycles.

I ordered a number of goods and only the small value items arrived. The large value items were not included and my order was marked as complete. Chain Reaction Cycles did not reply to e-mails and their phone line was always engaged.

I raised a dispute through Paypal and only then did I get a response. Instead of an apology and fast resolution they asked that I post them back the packing note. Eventually I obtained a fax number and contact name and sent it back to them.

Great assortment of both parts and personal gear at Chain Reaction Cycles. Fairly easy to navigate the site, good search function. Prices are often very tempting, but after a few clicks it gets a bit annoying finding out that the item on sale up front has the wrong dimension or size - the item you want is often slighty more expensive, if available at all. Still, I've always managed to find the stuff I need at a better price than ordering the same item in Sweden.

Chain Reaction Cycles is a very thorough cycling website with a huge range of product. Customer service was a bit slow. I emailed a question about the compability of the things I was buying and it took 3 days to get a response. But when I did get a response it was very good. Prices are amongst the cheapest out there. I Ordered a pair of Endure short size medium from Chain Reaction, which were fine. Then ordered another pair of Endura shorts in the same size, but 3/4 length.

These did not fit at all. As they were the exact same brand I wore them straight away. They won't take them back as they are worn, but this left a bitter feeling with me. Customer service is not symphatetic at all, and I'm E 60,- poorer. Partly my fault, but I would expect better service, or at least a warning, because they should know ...

Recently found www.ChainReactionCycles.com and I can truely say it is now my local bike shop.

They have the best range, great prices and unbelievably fast delivery.

Although I'm not a biker I found Chain Reaction Cycles website whilst looking for some Sealskinz waterproof gloves and glove liners. My order went through without a hitch.However, the one improvement that I would recommend to this company would be that they send out a "dispatch of goods" email before you receive the goods as no-one was at home to take delivery of my goods. Never, ever had a problem with these fellas in my 3 years of dealing with them. Prices are mostly some of the best around.
No postage and packing either, something others should catch on too, and quick.

What a great site. I was wandering around the net and came across www.chainreactioncycles.com and its brilliant.They have allsorts of different cycling equipment and and spare parts. At the time I was looking for some new brakes for my bike but I ended up ordering a new helmet and clothing as well.In total I spent nearly £200 and the delivery came within the time they said it would.
