I have made 4 orders over the last 6 months totaling over $1000. All my orders arrived to Alberta , Canada within 10 days of ordering. On one occasion I ordered some 165mm FSA gossamer cranks for my wife, it turns out they were out of stock so they upgraded my order to FSA K-force light carbon cranks with a creamic BB. I only got charged customs fees on one of the orders and it ended up being $27. Nothing but good things to say! (read more)

I have made a bigger order 11.02.13, and it was split in two. Tyres and helmet came first - 07.03.13 - almost a MONTH since the order was placed! The other, larger part of order is NOT delivered yet. The main problem it therefore delivery. CRC greatly economize on the post costs and choose the poorest and - chipest - options. Yes, they have nice prices. I order a bike and they delivered it with wrong parts. A Alfine Dynamo Hub Frontwheel and the lights were missing. I wrote them a mail and they order the parcel service without asking me if I want that ! I told them I want the bike but because of the missing parts (which are around 80GBP) they should gibe me a discount or a voucher. But sadly this was not possible. I made a purchase of a front derailleur and a seatpost (order 9580805). But just bought the seatpost to harness the value of the shipment. The next day they sent email saying they canceled sending the front derailleur. But I do not want to pay only for the seatpost, the price of shipping is not worth it. Ordered a new front bike light last week and the price was a bargain, it arrived quick and looked the business. Charged it as specified and tried the light which didn't work so I contacted CRC and the customer service was shocking, they weren't the least bit interested in helping. The light is no longer in stock, they can't offer any replacement or warranty repair and can only refund the value and suggest I look for a different light. Placed my 12th order a few days ago - a set of lights for my niece's birthday so gave her address for delivery - then decided to pay with paypal - bad mistake - goods arrived to my paypal registered address and the crc software is obviously not up to the job of sorting this out - a pretty basic coding mistake. I have saved a lot of money buying from Chainreactioncycles; however, all of my orders have been poorly packed. Items are loose inside the box and get damage from contact in shipment. My cranks have nicks and scratches. The cassette was inside a loose plastic bag so that all the cogs were marked up. If you need your item to arrive in new condition, don't order from this site. I have been using CRC for 2-3 years and have accumulated many orders over this time. The quality of the service has been variable, but the frequency and severity of problems seems to be on the rise. Given the most recent problems I have experienced, it's unlikely I'll use CRC again. My history of problems includes: 1. Ordered 165mm cranks, but they sent 180mm cranks. As other people have found they never reply to emails and even if you pay extra for next day delivery they don't actually send it next day! There is no phone number on their site to make contact - so email is the only option. And of course its easy to ignore emails!
