I ordered a very expensive blu ray-dvd-digital version of SKYFALL, it was more expensive than elsewhere but delived quickly as it was for a birthday. I asked questions prior to my DVD purchase (including where I was from). At no time did Zavvi inform me that the DVD's would NOT work in my area. They happily took my money and would not allow me to return the product because it was open. I filed a dispute with my bank. Buyer be aware! (read more)

I've used these guys a couple of times before which the first order was great, smooth payment, dispatch and delivery, all sweet! Then the second order a few months back; one game was dispatched within a day or two and the other put onto back order for a week - given both were shown as 'in stock'. My latest order was placed 5 days before the release date of a game, showing as 'pre order' and given today's standards amongst online retailers, you tend to receive games a day or two before... pre-ordered many steelbooks from zavvi,have now cancelled most of them due to payment problem notice that the bank says zavvi never even attempted to collect,funny that both these were oos when zavvi posted this but inbetween two of these payment problems withdrew money from my account for an other order have since continually emailed to no effect ,stay well clear of this company if you have any sense,also delivery time is an age ,thats if it ever turns up at all. Zavvi has officially scammed me. I though they were bad yes but they really took my money and didn't get me any product. I bought two games in mid December, its now late February and they still have not arrived. They have obviously disappeared in the mail, Zavvi's blunder. returned a £14-99 item,they said they had not received it,asking me for proof of postage,sent proof of delivery next day.They now inform me that they havnt received my proof of postage. Recently ordered a boxset which cost me £50. When it arrived the outer box was slightly damaged - but I was willing to overlook that because I was so desperate to start watching the show. I've ordered with Zavvi 3 times now. The first 2 were fine, a little late on delivery but no real issue. Then the last time my product hasn't arrived. I contacted them through their message system - 5 days have passed and not even a reply! I emailed customer service and received a cut and paste "this is for feedback only, use the online message system" style response. So, they received some feedback! I ordered 2 PS3 games for my sons Christmas presents on 2nd December but when they didn't arrive I contacted Zavvi customer services. After three months worth of emails I have just received a refund today. I do feel that if I hadn't kept the pressure on them with regular contact (every week) they would have swept it under the carpet. I will never shop here again. Turtle beach headset I bought for my nephews Christmas was faulty, I contacted Zavvi to return for replacemnt. After sending a mail through my account to no response, I FINALLY got through on phone, very helpful, sent me returns form....fine. Ive generally had a good relationship with Zavvi, but it has some serious customer service problems. When ordering items, delivery seems hit and miss. When pre-ordering an item, I is usually with me on the day/weekend of release. Other orders for items currently 'in stock' tend to take longer though, and it can be upto a week before they are dispatched. The big issue with them comes when there is a problem with your order. Ordered 500g of MyProtein Creapure creatine. They sent me a 250g pack. Keeps trying to obtain return authorisation code, but they don't respond to emails. Will never use again!! I have previously left an entry on this review and to date have still not received a refund. Like others Zavvi are no longer replying to my e-mails. I have reported this company to Trading Standards and suggest that as many people as possible do the same as it is clear in my opinion that this is not a company with legitimate practices. I have ordered from zavvi multiple times and while their prices are extremely good their support is the worse i have ever encountered. I never had problems with something not arriving but keep in mind that with their free shipping option it took T-shirts almost 40 days to arrive. But bigger packages Always arrive within 10 days and that for Greece. Have ordered at Zavvi many times. Their prices are often the best around but their service is terrible. Shipping time is quite ridiculous too as it's usually a week from when they post it to when you receive the item. Basically only order if it's the cheapest around, you're not in a hurry and it's an item that won't require any customer service contact (don't buy electronics from them) (read more)

Poor very customer service. Would not let me use a voucher code that 'did not' come with conditions of use other codes (e.g. no electrical item etc). I understand it is Christmas and there can be delays in post (although my company posted chocolates (client presents) 1st class on the 12th and nearly all of them arrived on the 13th) but I received and email from Zavvi saying order dispatched on 11th and it still hasn't arrived! Terrible! Gone downhill in a really short period of time. Too bad, used to be a good shop mainly because of great prices. hi, I did get a refund, I sent my proof of posting & recorded delivery ref on the Friday & received my refund Monday morning. (13 days after they signed for it) I strongly recommend paying 95p for recorded delivery as they were denying they had received the RAT back but I could prove otherwise. Don't buy anything from Zavvi even if you had a positive experience by them before that is no guaranty. I have ordered things from Zavvi and even if the delivery was very slow I got my stuff. But now I dident receive it. I contacted Zavvi but they would not help me. I have used them a couple of times without any problems. As soon as you have a problem it is a massive thing. You try to phone them but not only do you have to pay a lot for the call but they don't answer! You then send them back the package but they deny they have received it..... eventually they pay your money back. Will be going else where from now (read more)

I realise this is no consolation but your mistake was sending them the proof of postage. Ask if you can attach a photo of it and e-mail this. They agreed to do this with me - as I had the exact same problem and wasn't then going to send them the proof of postage for them to claim they'd lost that as well. They can't argue with a photo - this is my tip for anyone else in the same position.
