    I pre-ordered a game (about ten days early) for my pc at the excellent price of £17.95. Within 3 days my bank were calling me to inform me my card had been used for credit card fraud. So I duly cancelled my card, and sorted out the problem of checking the fraudulent transactions etc, and getting a new one delivered. By the way, It was a new card and had never been used.
    The day they were set to dispatch, I recieved an email from them telling me they were going to debit my account, but my card had been refused - no kidding! I rang them to cancel my order and explain the problem and the girl was very nice and apologetic about it. She then asked me if I wanted to give her different card details and still order the game? I told her what I'm now telling you - do a quick Google search - Zavvi credit card fraud. They clearly have a problem with their staff. Cheap though...

    Although Zavvi were the cheapest, bad reviews almost put me off ordering - it was only the experience of a work colleague, who'd ordered & got his game the next day that persuaded me to try them.

    My game also arrived within a couple of days - even in the midst of a postal strike. As a nice bonus I even got the original version of the game rather than the classic/budget version I assumed I'd get.

    Don't be put off by the reviews, my experience with Zavvi was excellent.

    Zavvi online are absolutely useless. DO NOT BUY OFF THEM!

    I ordered an XBox controller of them 3months ago now and they still cant give me an expected delivery date!
    Since I complained about a month ago I now get really helpful emails every 2weeks or so informing me that I'm still awaiting my purchase (Really!? You don't say!?)

    I've been told that the item is difficult to get hold of and that this is causing the delay, but if you walk into any highstreet shop or supermarket they're two a penny ...

    I placed two seperate orders with Zavvi (for Xbox live membership and 2100 points) both had dispatch within 2-3 days against them. I ordered them via Quidco and expected 2.5% cahsback (not much but ever bit helps). Initially it all looked good the items tracked on quidco at the 2.5 % the following day. However over the following week no sign of any mail (Play and DVD.co.uk never took so long). Then over 1 week after ordering I noticed that the orders where revalidated on quidco at only 2%. ...

    I ordered an hitachi 320GB external hardrive, from Zavvi.co.uk which showed on the website as in stock, It then took 4 weeks to arrive!, but was 250GB, I then emailed Zavvi, no joy, finally called their premium rate number to arrange a refund.

    Bad First and Last Experience

    I ordered a copy of the Jurassic Park Trilogy for the (frankly unbelievable) price of £3.95 on 4 May - this was an item prominently highlightedon its 'Sale' page.

    I thought I'd post to confirm that in my experience the relaunched Zavvi site www.zavvi.co.uk is equally as poor as the older reviews on here. I ordered an item which promised dispatch within 72 hours - when I queried why it hadn't been sent after 7 days, I was told it would be almost a month before it was dispatched due to "supplier issues".     I assumed I was going to receive new products from such a business. Sending a customer second hand products when advertised as new is unacceptable.

    I ordered the complete Laurel and Hardy collection from Zavvi, which their website said was in stock and normally dispatched within 24 hours. So when after about 5 working days had passed I was surprised to log into my account to see the order was still processing. Can you find a phone number or anyway to contact these guys fast? No way!     So I went and ordered a Wii Fit from zavvi.co.uk - their website said it's in stock. Right after I placed my order the availability notice went to "Currently unavailable"."Great!"     Item not received two weeks after placing order, says 24 hours on website. Only contact is by enquiry form and which I received an automated email which says they will contact me within 48 hours but they haven't as of yet.

    Zavvi's unfavourable refund policyWe bought over 100 pounds worth of goods from Zavvi and wanted to return 4 DVD's as they were meant as gifts but they were duplicates.
