    I bought a Nokia N97 from Mobile Phones Direct back in July when the handset was first launched; it was by far the best deal on teh handset (£35 per month on T-Mobile). Although there were problems in processing my account as I had just changed address and not told my bank the customer service team kept me fully informed as to the status of the order and I recieved the handset within 2 days.

    The handset started behaving stangely about 6 weeks after I got it - it crashed a couple of times during calls. I contacted the customer service team who told me that the handset was covered under Nokia's warranty. the told me where the nearest Nokia repair team was, about 2 miles from where I live). I took it to Nokia and they repaired it in about an hour!

    I would buy from Mobile Phones Direct again as even though they weren't able to swap the handset they enabled me to very quickly get the handset repaired. My N97 is now fully working and I have not had any further problems again.

    I pre-ordered the new Nokia N97 mini a month before it was available. As promised it turned-up a week before anyone else had it in stock, and direct from a Nokia store owned by Mobile Phones Direct. The Vodafone deal was the cheapest I could find at £30 month. This is the Second phone I've bought from them. 5 stars from me and they do what they say on the tin!

    Mobile Phones Direct Only got 1 star as I couldn't give them 0. Have had phone for 2 months when it developed a fault. I was told that after the first 7 days the they have no responsibility and I should deal with the manufacturer, who will take at least two weeks to repair the phone. Based on my experience they either have no understanding of,or respect for the sales of goods act.     After sales service stinks. My smartphone has been repairs for three weeks and there is still no date as to when I will get my phone back.

    Emailing the webshop@.... is generally ignored when it has anything to do with after sales service. 'Call you back in 4 working hours' is a joke... try never.

    I have requested a refund now and the likelihood of me getting that are slim as they could not even replace my handset.

    I will never use Mobile Phones Direct again. Rubbish company and an even wor ...

    Purchased a htc Touch Pro 2 from Mobile Phones Direct in early August '09. htc phone arrived on time but GPS (internal or with Bluetooth external)was not working. Sent device back same week and I am still waiting for the smartphone to be returned. I am having to phone them up nearly every day for an update and don't seem to be getting there. I have even emailed them to inform them that the device needs a firmware upgrade to get the GPS working and is a known issue with this particular model.

    Had to insist of a replacement after a number of faults, was told no more than 2 weeks which turned out to be 4 weeks. I had to chase Mobile Phones Direct to get a progress update and address issues such as postage refund and loss of free insurance.

    They still have not refunded my postage and are making excuses about the fact that I did not have the phone during most of the 2nd month of the 3 month free insurance.
