“don't bother with cashback deals”

I ordered my phone with this company as with the cash back deal it was the best I could find. z1 compact £30 a month with £240 cash back (unlimited internet,texts and 600 mins). Customer services were very professional and phone arrived the next day. On trying to claim the first cash back deal(which they told me was £150 not £240) statements were sent off 6 months ago and still not received anything. Unless you send invoices recorded delivery, they deny receiving them. I cant be bothered chasing them for the money they owe me and will never use this company again unless its without cash back!

“not very quick”

“iPhone 4S ”

The shipping was not that great as I had to wait till my product was in stock which took a few more days then I had expected so I had to wait 3 week till I finally got my iPod which didn't leave a big impact as I only had 1 week and a few days to accturally make use of my contract until the month ended. That's y I only gave it four stars, overall I loved my phone and everything about it.

The 'half price for 7 months' deal seemed legit when I clicked on pay now it was in my belief it was for 27.50 a month. Until the phone comes and I realise I actually need to pay 32 and send each bill away with voucher things! - hassle. This should be advertised more clearly as you are gaining customers under false pretences.

I had excellent service, got a great deal and my phone came within a few days. The only thing I am a bit miffed about is I got the £50cash back after 90days. I haven't seen this and don't know how to contact them to chase?!?

I personally made the phone call as I have been directed to affordable mobile, i knew perfectly well what I wanted. The sale person knowing that I am a potential customer who is about to commit myself to an £800 phone, she did not show much enthusiasm in handling the call, it was more of a burden for her ( well it's how she made me felt at that time). I must admit that the actual product delivery happened in a phenomenal speed. Well informed I believe by parcel force with the tracking service. Thanks , enjoying my new S4 now.

“YES or NO?”

Service was slow due to 'phone not being in stock. Once the phone arrived the personal phone number was inaccessible unless a call was made. Due to the fact that I wanted a Q10 and got a Z10 was surprising but I now love my phone and the service. Am waiting for the bill next - but on the whole better than going into a shop to buy. I am a busy lady and did not have the time to go through the Phones 4U confusing sales pitches. I am happy now with the choice made.

After placing the order and receiving the phone I was very impressed with the phone.I was looking on the website for offers continuously, and the deal I went for was good for me at the time. I saw that they where offering free headphones with this deal, I know that it only came on a couple of days before I placed the order after a number of emails the out come was they had all GONE! I'm overall happy with the service but not happy about the outcome of the headphones.

“seal was opened and phone details on the box was...”

good customer services goes with GOODS provided; but I wasn't very happy when I found the seal was broken, no plastic seal on the phone to show the phone is brand new and to make matter worse, all details outside the box was completely ripped off. That's make me suspect the phone was sold to someone but decided to send it back. called customer service said they do open for quality checks but not the way my phone's box was opened. totally unprofessional.

“Do not really know what is going on.”

Well I ordered an Iphone 4s yesterday and it said on the website that it was in stock so hopefully it is in stock still? Rang up straight away to find out when the first bill would come out of my bank, took around 15 mins for them to pick up the phone and tell me that it would say this when the phone is delivered. Due to me having two contracts with tmobile they asked me for my other contract number? no explanation why and said they could carry on with my order after this? do not really understand why they needed that number to a different contrct. It said on the email that this could take up to 24 hours for them to even read the email, so how long is it going to tke for my item to even be dispatched? Clearly when I ordered it said the phone was in stock and would have next day delivery, obviously not. I would of liked to have known a specific reason why they needed my other contract number, how long it would take, a confirmation email that they have received my order. To be honest its just very poor customer service.

“Distorted communication”

I received my phone right away and was very happy with this service however I waited for my free gift for over a month. Apparently it was sent much earlier but because I wasn't notified of it I didn't expect it. Delivery company never left a card for me and I didn't know that they were attempting delivery. When at last I contacted customer service and support there was a great deal of delay in communication and lack of an information flow within the company. They didn't know where my gift was and whether it was still with a delivery company or returned to them. I was then promised re-delivery for a given day but that never happened. Gift arrived few days later and after I already had it I still was getting a communication from customer service which assumed that they had no idea where the gift was. After all I received everything and I'm happy with my phone and gift but communication system could be greatly improved and monitoring of deliveries better.

“I-Phone 4S, phone great, problems with Email”

Received the phone in good time, in good delivery condition. All functions great except, I CANNOT send emails from my talktalk account, via 3G or EE, but can through wifi at home. From research, this would appear to be a known problem, only sortable by creating a Gmail, hotmail etc account and managing my mail that way??? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if so talktalk customers should be informed in advance, I'm sure there's a few of us? T-mobile tech support were useless, haven't managed to get much sense from talktalk either so far, but not sure I've spoken to right people yet. Other than that, the phone is pretty awesome

I expected it to come monday morning yet no phone i have emailed AM and they have said the phones are out of stock and i should recieve my phone before the week is out, which is ok i guess except when i ordered my phone it was instock i know it was otherwise i wouldnt have ordered it it is now 26/3/2013 and still no iphone 5 :( i will be post and update when the phone has arrived as i am abit iffy about AM seeng from past reviews. “Poor comms & timing, but great price if u can handle...”

Here is my experience of Affordable Mobiles: Saw this great deal via Martin Lewis' money saving expert website phone comparison tool. Ordered a 16GB Samsung Galaxy 3 in blue, 24mnth contract on O2 for £21.50 per month, with 100 cross network mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data per month on Thursday 25th October for next day delivery. Phone was not here Saturday, but I got an email asking for Driving License number and passport number fr O2 to complete credit check which I was suspicious about. Did a bit or research and provided these details on Sunday. Heard nothing. Mixed luck chasing them on the phone. Waited over 10 mins on Monday then gave up. Got through Tuesday and was told the classic "systems are down" but the girl took my details and promised to send me an email later. Lo and behold I got an email later saying order complete and I would get phone next day - if it was in stock!!! Phone finally arrived on Thursday morning, followed two hours later by an email telling me it had been dispatched! Lucky my wife was in! Anyway, brilliant phone, brilliant price, naff company - stressful but worth it for me.

“Not bad ... so far”

Hi all. Just thought i'd put my 2 cents worth in. These guys have a pretty dire record judging from the reviews here, but i've gotta say from my experience so far they havn't been too bad. Granted the next day delivery upon ordering is a blatent lie (ordered on Monday, arrived Thursday), but thats forgivable in my view considering the deal i'm getting. I'm very happy with the phone (HTC One S), brand new condition, no scuffs or re-packaging or anything like that (i think perhaps those people who have had these problems may have ordered a "re-conditioned" phone and not realized). I've rang the customer support line several times and i don't have any major complaints, the wait is not excessive for this type of support line i don't think. Yes it's premium rate but come on people, it's only 9p a minute!! Get some perspective; if you're on the phone for an hour (which is highly unlikely in my experience) you're still only paying £5.40: thats ONE drink in a lot of places in London, maybe 2 drinks elsewhere if you're lucky. Far as i could tell the operators knew what they were talking about, and were polite and helpful. Seems to me that as with many other phone support lines, if you start mouthing off at them that's when they're going to make things difficult for you. Anyway, I'm waiting on a free gift laptop still (should be arriving within 28 days apparently), and I have cashback by redemption on my contract, i will post futher reviews as and when i cross these bridges. I would advise those who are having problems to be patient, be persistent, and above all take a rage dump :)

I ordered a Samsung on Friday and did not recieve a confirmation email so I was a bit worried as they had my bank details. Anyway Monday today and I have recieved 2 emails saying they will send a email confirming when it has been despatched and ref number as long as in stock?. “Out of stock but helpful when cancelling”

I've seen a lot of people complaining about this company on various review sites, however this was not until I had already ordered a phone from them! I ordered an iPhone4S using a Groupon voucher I had purchased. As with nearly everyone else who has ordered an iPhone4s from Affordable Mobiles it seems that I was promised it would be despatched within 24 hours only to receive an email 2 days later saying that it was out of stock. I had also read lots of tales of horrific experiences with customer services. Certainly do not bother emailing their customer services as you just get an auto-response saying we aim to respond to your email within 72 working hours! I thought it was a joke when I got it! Based on this I decided to cancel my order and just pay for the more expensive contract through 3 Mobile directly. To be fair to the Affordable Mobiles however, when I called up to cancel they did cancel my order straight away without any debate and I got straight through to someone. They also advised me that I should be able to get a refund from Groupon. Maybe their customer service is getting better but for now I'd rather not take the risk!

“Not bad, could be better”

Like many others on here I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S2. I received the confirmation email saying the network had accepted me then got another email saying that they were out of stock but that I would be updated regularly with the possible delivery date. After a week of hearing nothing (despite me emailing them a few times) they sent me an email saying the phone would be delivered the next day. It was, and now I am happy despite the weeklong delay. I understand in the run up to Christmas there will be higher than normal demand but a simple email to tell me that the phone will arrive approximately a week late would have kept me happy. They definitely need to work on their customer service but in terms of value for money the deals are top notch.

I've purchased an iPhone 6 that was in stock on the website on 23/01/15. I later received an e-mail saying that it's out of stock. Do anyone have any idea when it will be back in stock and when I will eventually receive it?

If i was you i would cancel the order immediately. I spent months trying to get them to fix a broken phone and they flatly refused. Luckily 3 replaced the phone for me as they were so appalled with the behavior of Affordable Mobiles.

I received the mobile within a few days but - the wrong one. Binned them as a supplier as their customer service is appalling. Suggest you go to mobiles site (who are owned by carphone warehouse) they provide outstanding, honest service.
