Ordered a IPhone 5 on 17th April 2013, Now 16th May. After two phone calls to there customer care, don't make me laugh, they could not give a toss. I originally tried placing an order on their website on the 3rd of May. It has now been 12 days and I am no closer to getting this processed. I am exisiting T-Mobile customer and am trying to take out a T-Mobile deal with AM. I selected, ordered and receiving my phone in a few days. At every step of the way I knew what was happening. I did speak to Affordable Mobiles at the start but didn't need to call them once the order was placed. You can't ask for better service at all. What can one say. No customer service, no support, no help, no ethics and no use. I have never used such a poor company. They fail to advise or investigate problems. They offer discounts and vouchers but fail to honour them and their offers are often not real and they cannot fulfil the orders. Certain address types? Without going round the back of my house, no one could be sure it was unoccupied, the only thing to give this impression, is the fact there is no sofa or tv, and no curtains in the back room. the downstairs is complete, new decoration and new carpets, it doesnt look like an abandoned property. Had I been there when they delivered, even if I was working in the front yard, I would have signed and everyone would be happy, however, how would he know it was me, would he still look at my house and say its "unoccupied"? And refuse me on the spot? He could have- SHOULD have left a card, I was prepared to drive the 40min drive to their depot, where, in my past experience, they check my passport and a bill for this address and name. Am I still a wrong?? I'm even not allowed to collect from your centre, which is only 5miles up the road. I waited 11-12 days for this, the contract phone I have is dropping to bits, I use another phone to charge its battery. Having had no issue in ordering a phone and receiving the delivery, I thought they seemed to be a good company. However, once my phone developed a fault within the first few weeks I soon found oout the real truth about Affordable Mobiles. My phone was a Samsung Galaxy S2 and so any manufacturing issues should have been sorted out by now, and I had had it about two weeks before it started locking up and appear to be turned off. Phone arrived after over a week of purchase and found customer service very unhelpful. Seal broken and had to return phone. Advised collection and exchange will take place simultaneously but did not happen. Collection took place quickly however replacement took another 4 days to arrive. Wrong choice of courier used. Date: 04.04.2013. I've ordered Iphone5 7days ago and have been told explicitly by their sales team representative that delivery will take 24 hours. BUT i'm still waiting for the delivery and the only reply from their support is - sorry, phone is out of stock. I don't think they are sorry, and it was in stock when i was placing the order because i was talking with their sales team. totally rubbish service...every day the reply is we need 7 working days. After taking out a HTC one contract, you are then told that they are not in stock, ok fair enough. So when will they be in stock, we dont know wht a load of rubbish, they charge you £30 initial fee for a phone that they have no effin idea on when they going to send to you, starting to get a bit ticked of as was hoping to have my phone by now!
