My experience was a nightmare. Truly have never come across such perverted front of house staff. It made me cringe when the waiters kept on looking at my cleavage instead of looking at my face. I hated the fact that every time I turned they would be a group of waiters giggling to each other and chatting in their language. Me and my daughter were approached every five minutes. As soon as you walk in there is an great atmosphere. The wators were so kind, helpful and polite as soon as you walked in. There is an comfortable cosy longue with space for small and big groups, it is pritave so you an have your own conversations. At the louge you order your drinks and then order your meal while you have your drinks. There is an English seclection of dishes avalible in full or half portsions Once you had ordered a wator would take yur drinks to a table and you would wait... (read more)

Me and my husband love going out for dinner at the weekend and this restaurant is always a fantastic night out! After trying lots of different dishes on the menu - I can recommend the tandori mixed meat dish which comes out sizzling with a seperate serving of a sauce - I love their samba sauce! it comes with a side salad so although its a huge portion its not too filling as you don't need the rice! It's our twentieth anniversary and I've want to go to the Spice Rooms for some time. The food, service and the atmosphere was excellent. I and planning to take my family there in a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant. (read more)

Delicious Indian food with great special offers for midweek dining and there's a really good value for money sunday buffet, too. Staff are smart and efficient and there's a really good atmosphere in the restaurant. lots of local people get takeaways from there, too. Went to the Spice Room with three friends last night. We went on someone else's recommendation. We didn't know until we got there that there was a buy one get one free offer on Mon to Thurs. Would probably have gone sooner if we knew this. The service was great and the waiters we really friendly and easy to chat to. Our food was plentiful and tasty and the beer was lovely and cold.
