I considered buying a franchise for this as it looked like a good idea to me, but changed my mind when I rang a few dozen companies who had signed up to it. I asked them if they had seen any benefits to their business and none of them were enthusiastic and most said they would not be renewing for a second term. (read more)

I have owned a UKWebsaver card for just over a month and recouped the '£4.99 membership fee on my second purchase. It's good to see actual cash discounts instead of a points system and I am now spending more money with local businesses that are offering me a saving with the card. (read more)
