Good Points: A good family fantasy film which was fairly easy to follow even if you haven't read the books.
Bad Points: Could scare some younger children & also a bit of diversion from the books - they changed the ending!
General comments: I would recommend The Spiderwick Chronicles as a good family film to see over the easter holidays but perhaps not for children below the age of 6 or those that scare easily.

Overall I really enjoyed this movie. A very well directed film with amazing acting from all involved. A definite must see.

I thought this movie was very well done and was very entertaining. I have always liked fantasy type movies like this and Spiderwick did not disappoint! The fictional characters were unique and very well done so that half way through the movie, I was lost in the movie and had forgotten that these characters were not real. The graphics were also extremely well done that it made the movie flow very well. The story was great and I felt like I was engaged throughout the entire show. All in all, ...
