Good Points: 3 sections so will fit easily in car boot, all round good quality build including Fuji seat and rings,
Bad Points: Probably wouldnt appeal to "traditionalists"
General comments: I purchased this as I wanted a convienient rod that would fit in my car boot out of site whilst at work so I can get a couple of hours in by the water on the way home.
The 3 section construction allows for this very well and comes with a strong vinyl slip which whilst keeping it from rattling around but is not crush proof so watch the old boot lid! This rod looks very smart in dark blue with matching whipping picked out with silver, the finish is good for a rod in this price range with no obvious flaws and a good build of epoxy bolstering and sealing the Fuji rings.
I have made the comment about "traditionalists" as this rod doesnt have a "normal" handle but a lighter blue non slip grip shrunk onto the carbon which I have no problem with for a light rod. I am pleased with the action in casting, it is rated for 1-3 oz so will cope with a large Dexter or Toby and would also be ideal for float and light sinker work. All in all I can recommend this rod.
