    Good Points: None


    Bad Points: Untrustworthy proprietors more interested in taking and keeping people's money than providing them with a place to stay.


    General comments: We booked a stay at Villa Pallero back in Nov. 2008 for a week in March 2009. Two weeks before leaving Canada to head to Italy, we received an email that the boiler was broken and we wouldn't be able to stay at the villa. The owner asked me over an email for my banking information to provide me with a refund which was strange since I had paid with a credit card. I asked her to process a refund to my credit card. That was over 30 days ago and I still haven't received my money back. I have also sent repeated emails requesting information on what is going on and I have not heard a single word of response. I know that she has read my emails as I have had read receipts sent back to my computer once she opens the email. It is a very, very shady situation. I wouldn't take the risk of booking here if I were you. The area itself is lovely, however, and definitely worth a visit.

    San Gimignano Villa Pallero have charming apartments, a little run down. There are many other nearby businesses with locations as good.
    Delightful views of landscape around from grounds.
    We booked and our agent received the following "I am afraid we have made an error this morning in Italy and instead of taking the balance due of 540 euros on apartment 3, the amount of 840 euros was taken by mistake.... We will therefore arrange to make a refund to your clients of 300 euros which is the amount o ...

    The villa is in a prime location in Italy, although it isn't next door to any of the cities/towns such as Florence, Pisa, Siena etc. It is well within a reasonable driving distance providing a very peaceful and tranquil place to stay in the Tuscan hills. The villa itself is also plentiful in regards to features, with 5 differently themed rooms based on Italian heritage. Not only is there a swimming pool but a Sauna, Solarium and Fitness Suite are all available for use too. Overall Villa Pallero ...

    Me and a group of friends (6) stayed at the Villa at low season and it accommodation us all well as the villa has several spacious apartments.We hired a car for the week, which I highly recommend for anyone staying in Tuscany, so we could drive to the regions nearby such as Florence, Lucca and Siena. think this villa would be best suited for a family, group of people or older people who wish to absorb the scenery and culture.
