“Laptop screen replaced while I waited”

Had a bad day woke up and stood on my Laptop smashing the screen. Called in to Anglian Internet got a quote to replace the screen expecting to have to wait a few days while they ordered the screen. But hey no they said would you like if fitted today as they had stock. Walked up to the local coffee shop came back about 40 minutes later all done and ready to collect. Had bought a so called gaming PC from another Company and found it wouldn't play most of the games I threw at it. Dissapointed I took it along to a highly recommended local Computer store in Norwich. Young Matt an avid Gamer had alook over the sales counter and told me I had an inadequate Graphics card to play top end games. On the 25th February I took a top end liquid cooled gaming machine into this company for diagnostics and repair as it was suffering from some BSOD problems but nothing major. I was told that they found no issues except for x2 sticks of incompatible memory and received a receipt on payment stating this and the machine was released in perfect working order on the 2nd March. If you have problems with anything bought from this outlet, the after sales service is very poor indeed. The PC I had bought is freezing and giving me problems. I took it back. They do not phone you as promised and they promised 3 times, I had to chase every single step of the way. I got a different story each time I called. I was told that they had changed the hard drive, then they tried to charge me £49 to re-install windows. Got the computer home and it was still freezing as before. I... (read more)

if you are a casual user, then they would appear to be fine.

however, if you are a power-user, like myself, and have a problem with a component, their service is a joke. their testers are completely useless, and couldnt find a fault with my RAM (i showed evidence of the fault, and told them how to reproduce it, but they ignored that). the have next to no knowledge about the products that they sell, and if one of them does, they are horrifically biased.
