    We ordered 2 Laura Ashley Kendal sofa's that arrived in September 2009. At the time of writing (early December) they look as if we have had them for 3 or 4 years, not three months.

    The quality of the sofa stuffing is dreadful. Despite plumping regularly as instructed (about every 3 - 4 days), the cushions are now flat and lumpy. They are also uncomfortable.

    To put this level of wear into perspective, it is worth saying that there are only two people in our household (myself and my husband), we both work full time, and we spend a lot of our time sprawled on the floor. The sofa's have therefore had less use than they would get in a normal household.

    On complaining to Laura Ashley we are told this is a 'characteristic' of their sofa's. The member of staff I spoke to also told me that they receive a lot of complaints about their sofa's. I would not buy again from Laura Ashley, and would strongly recommend to anyone else that they avoid these sofa's. Having spend almost £3,000 I frankly expect better quality.

    I liked the furniture in the Laura Ashley shop, but I ordered two sofas on same day same colour leather(breton) same design -however they are two different shades ,one orangany one reddish and head office say it is acceptable to them and now i have no choice---truly i know I can never sell them as a pair

    I paid £200 for a Laura Ashley Interior Designer to visit my home in 2007, what a fantastic service this company provides. The designer was knowledgeable, creative and created a beautiful home of which i am proud of. the designer measured, designed, sent out scheme boards and a detailed quote including paint, curtains, accessories, poles alot of which are just available to design service customers. the customer service was pretty good too

    I ordered 11 metres of fabric on 28th of october 2008 and 21 november I am still waiting. Payment was taken on 28th october and I am being fobbed off constantly by the customer service dept. I have had to instigate a dispute with my bank in order to get anything moving. Laura ashley is a shocking company and I would warn you not to order anything from them

    I ordered a sideboard and sideboard top online at the end of April and paid at the time. I received a confirmation of order the next day stating that we would hear from the delivery company by 8th August. We didn't hear from them or Laura Ashley, so I contacted them a few days later and was told that the entire range we had ordered from was undergoing quality checks, due to a large number of quality problems on the range.     although we loved the table and chairs in the shop, it has yet to appear in my home.ordered in january told a 9 week delivery but we had to pay up-front.Its now 29th July and I am still waiting, we have been told that the end of August is possilbleI would NEVER order from them again.

    Over a period of 3-4 years I have kitted out my lounge with Laura Ashley furniture. A range of wooden furniture e.g. book case, coffee table and drawers and more recently two new sofas.
    I have to say that in reality, the furniture doesn't meet my expectations of a quality product at all and when you try and complain responses are slow and inadequate.
