Delivery was on time. That's the only positive! Website advertised white glove delivery service which was why I chose them. Turned out not to be the case! very misleading website and member of staff who I complained to (who claimed to be the managing director though I have my doubts)said all depended on the weight and that a solid wood bed frame wasn't heavy enough! He argued the toss when I asked for a refund of my delivery charge and was completely unhelpful. Refused to accept that the website should be clearer as to what does and what doesn't qualify for white glove service! No complaints process at all. shocking customer service. He promised to email confirmation re our conversation. 4 months later I'm still waiting. Oh and that's beside the fact that the foot end was poor quality workmanship(I too had to send photos of the offending item before they would agree to exchange)and 17 out of the 38 plastic slat holders broke whilst assembling! This company really needs some lessons in treating customers fairly.

The item I purchased was £100 cheaper than in a local furniture shop - though delivery was a little expensive it still represented excellent value for money.
Received prompt and detailed order confirmations via email.
A couple of days after paying I had a call from Furniture star to ask when I would like delivery. Delivery was then on time and within a few days of the order.
Item is excellent quality for the price.
An all round very positive experience and I would recommend Furniture Star to any potential customers!

Excellent customer service from Furniture Star, the professionalism and efficiency of the delivery staff and the overall quality of the amazing Tokyo furniture I ordered. We are in a new property and it was a hell of a lot of work for the two guys to bring the furniture to us on the 1st floor. Road works were taking place and it was an effort for them to say the least. It's nice to have something run so smoothly and be very happy with all aspects of the order.

Firstly I stayed in all day awaiting delivery of my dining suite and all that arrived was the glass top. I then awaited another delivery of the table which then came without any fittings or screws or instructions and the wrong colour seats for the chairs. When I contacted them I was informed that they had stopped selling the chair covers I wanted but no-one informed me and some random person in the warehouse apparently decided I would have cream! A week after asking for a refund and the table to be collected it is still lying on my dining room floor.

I thought the entire after-sales service from Furniture Star was absolutely appalling, amongst the worst I have ever experienced. My original purchase turned up damaged, furniture star insisted I send them photos of the problems before they could offer a replacement and then, after a long delay, the replacement product turned up in a worse condition than the original. Since then, furniture star seem to be trying very hard to wriggle out of their obligation to correct the faults and several months later I am still arguing with them. During this time, they have not been able to provide me with a named individual who is dealing with the issue, let alone an apology for supplying faulty goods.
I will never use this company again. In future I will shop elsewhere even if my purchases cost twice the money. It really isn't worth the hassle they are putting me through.

I have used both FurnitureStar and it's sister company, Bedstar before as I regularly furnish rented housing and I must say they have never let me down. I recently purchased some very expensive furniture for fast delivery and was worried that the quality of service would be sacrificed for speed. I needn't have worried. Everything arrived in mint condition and on time. Well done FurnitureStar! I'll have no hesitation in using you again and again!

Dining table and chairs was delivered on time with no problems. I even got a 5% reduction!
