    Hi Kerrie,

    I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that I have got a place now! I work colleague has left for our New York office for six months and she has very kindly let me house sit her amazing two bedroom, two level apartment in Shoreditch... for free! Especially amazing, given I move in today.. the 13th...very, very lucky!

    However, you were fantastic! If I need another apartment in six months I will definitely use you to find it- and hopefully with a better bank roll and more options given how much I will be saving in rent over the next half year!

    With DavidStJames' positive attitude and attentive nature, it's been a win win situation so far working with you. I was able to set up appointments quickly and efficiently, and also able to make changes at a moments notice. That is quite the opposite from what I had expected having worked with a few other lettings companies recently. Thanks so so much!

    Additionally, when one of the flats I was scheduled to view went off the market, I was notified right away and given an alternative to view ... ...

    Too many to mention - David St James are awful- dont trust them - charged us £5000 upfront for finding 2 tenants in letting fees when the tenants left after 6 mths we didnt get a refund. its not our policy. hate them. they are all about screwing you for as much money as poss- no conscience

    David St James is awful - avoid like the plague - honestly too many reasons to list - please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere

    After the contracts were signed there seemed to be no real desire to actually do any work - standard practice seems to be not to ring you back or when you ring the office to have some other agent tell you they're out after two minutes (the office is one small room - it should take two seconds to see if they're in or not...........), emails going unreplied to for several days - not even a 'we'll look into this and get back to you' token email - nothing. And then not much help when they did get ba ...

    I have had NO problems with the agents. They were absolutely lovely and reallly really helpful. They found me my perfect house, they weren't too pushy, and that is always helpful. The house was well below our budget and it wasn't even a council estate or anything like that.
    I'm sorry for the person who had a horrid experience with them, but the four of us found that the whole office not only the agent were so helpful and friendly.

    My two flatmates and I founds a rental property through DavidStJames, and proceeded to put down a deposit for the flat. Our first prboelkm arose when one particular housemate tried to pay the initial '£500 downpayment. She was informed a matter of days later that her card had been cloned, and it had to be cancelled.
