It took me a while to find this site as there are quite a few sites offering a so-called free online memorial service. Lots of them say they are free but aren't, lots of them have adverts on or try to make money out of you in some way. Much Loved one doesn't, it really is free and that's guaranteed for ten years! It is also the only one that is a real genuine charity and you can fundraise for other charities too. On top of that agree with other posts - you really can make a very beautiful,... (read more)

I wanted to setup an online memorial to my Uncle and I tried quite a few memorial sites (including gonetoosoon) but found them all quite tacky, they all just felt like the same old same-old corporate websites but with pictures of a few lillies stuck on. I then tried MuchLoved and was quite stunned by the difference. I think its a bit of an undiscoverd gem really and I would wholly recommend you try it if you want an proper memorial not just a web page with a photo. (read more)

I found this review helpful because... I want to setup an online memorial to a friend of mine and I was going to use gonetoosoon but Muchloved seems a million times nicer plus its a charity and doesn't have adverts etc. I'm going to try it now & I'll report back!
