Good Points: Adjustable Objective, 44mm lens, good ligh transfer and avarege optics, the solid bronze or copper adjustament dials are just excelent.
Bad Points: Mil-dot reticicle is ugly and the dots are not well crafted. The range estimantig on the adjustable objetive does not gives you the right distance (on 10m it tells 12m and on 30m it tells 50m)
General comments: Bought this is scope a few weeks and since then, i have not found anything on the web about it. Looks like this is no longer made by Gamo, but its a genuine Gamo because of the fancy box, the good instructions manual and the engravings on the scope.
The optics are OK, but nothing than OK. My last scope, a cheap Simmons Blazer 3-9x50 had way more better optics.
The adjustable-objective funcions OK, but the range estimanting markings are all messed up. As i said, at 10m it tells me that aim at 12m, and at 30m it tells im at 50m. As long as you got the time and the nerve to remake the markings, this isent a issue.
The mil-dot reticicle is poor. The lines are tick and the dots are not well done, so you can barely see then.
The adjustment dials are made from solid bloks of bronze or cooper (really dunno), and are finelly adjustable with your bare hands. I think its a semi-target design.
My final words are: this is a nice scope for the money. For 99 euros (in Portugal) i 've got a adjustable objetive, mil dot, semi-target turrets and 4-12x44 scope. This cant be beat.
