    Bad Points: Heavy on Batteries. Even NMH.


    General comments: Superior Picture definition. Macro is also very efficient. Easy to handle. I use it as a backup to a DSLR and it does excellent work in Botanical Field.
    Bought this as an easy carry around. Will fit in a reasonable size pocket. I have been using cameras since the 1930s so have some experience. Picture quality is excellent and colour reproduction is good too.

    The Canon Powershot A650 IS produces a great image quality,brilliant LCD flexibility. Not very easy to understand at first, poor flash, build quality and looks could have been better. Otherwise, probably the best compact camera
