Good Points: Interface and thinks it says it supports.
Bad Points: It does not do what they claim it does.
General comments: I have installed Norton 360 to 3 computers in a Local network. Among others, I was thrilled when I saw that the first 30 days the program was checking each activity to auto-configure the firewall. 6 months later we changed a PC with a brand new one. I installed the program, and after that everything was gone bad. No other computer was able to go through the new one's shared directories. I tried turning off the firewall to the newly installed PC, I tried turning off firewall to every PC, I tried making a new rule to the firewall configuration, but the problem persists. I uninstalled NORTON 360 and everything was good. I installed it again and the problem was the same. I did this about 3 or 4 times. The only difference I noticed, was that after the installations on the new PC, there was no 30 days checking period for auto-config the firewall. I chat with Norton service (the man on the other end was very forthcoming but finally not helpful. After he realised there was nothing to do more he told me that I must have had a virus and I should pay £99, although the PC is brand new. I couldn't understand it... If I had to pay 99 'why did I bought Norton at the first place? He told me that Norton software does not remove old viruses, it only protects you from not getting one after the installation. If you check Norton's website, this is not what they claim about their products capabilities. Conclusion: Buying Norton 360 was TOTALLY a waste of money!

After installation of Symantec Norton 360 All-in-one Security my computer slowed to a snail's pace, the local network printer would not work, emails take ages to send, looking at web pages takes ages. It is hopeless and I am removing it from my PC.

Good deal. Easy to follow instructions, similar to other norton products. Good back up and support from symantec.
Although it took a little while to set up, once installed, it looks after itself with very little input from me. Particularly like the online back up facility. Well recommend Symantec Norton 360.

Norton 360 All-in-One security is an all round computer protection program, hence the 360. It is an anti-virus with automatic virus updates and local hard disc scanning. It protects against fraudulent and phishing websites with its real-time internet examiner and a firewall with several configurable internet protection rules. There is also an automated tuneup capability where the program removes temporary internet files, temporary windows files and then runs a disk defragmenter for you. It also ...
