I agree with those who liked this film. The plot was very good. Interesting concept of transportation. Though string theroy proved transportation to be possible at the atomic level, humans using this means of travel is far in the future; possibly never to be achieved. I have strongly recommended this film to other Hayden Christensen fans. He is a remarkable dramatic actor and is headed for the Oscars someday if given the right script. Kudos to you sir.
I have heard that they are making a sequeal to "Jumper" and will definately see the motion picture on the big screen.

I went in with no expectations and they were fullfilled. How Samuel L Jackson could actually allow himself to be in 'Jumper' is beyond me but then i guess if they were paying me large sums of cash to act in a pile of dung then what the hell.

The whole premise of the movie being that some people can teleport and these people are hunted down and executed by a secret organisation is fine as ideas go, a little odd until you find its a religious organisation (from the dark ages). What was bad was ...

This film, Jumper, never had the plot or the actors to become a block buster. the acting was bad. And the whole plot wasnt to good either. Good scenery and places of filming. You either love it or hate it.

Jumper is not a bad film, good effects, and an interesting concept on the whole superpowers thing.
was told in the film that there were jumpers all over the world and throughout time, yet during the whole movie we only see 3
and they are all young men?
nothing explains how they get there powers or why its in there bloodline.
but anyway, not a bad film, far from it,
my advise is watch the film on the basis of entertainment and don't read to much into it.

Jumper is a great film, and I recommend that everyone sees it. I cannot understand why most of the reviews here are negative. Overall, I think it is a brilliant film, definitely worth seeing.

For me, everything about this film was superb. I really can't understand why there are so many negative comments as I found the movie exciting from start to finish and didn't want it to end. I would watch it again it was that good.

Should have been called 'Pants' instead of 'Jumper' The best part of this film for me came after an hour, when I couldn't take anymore and teleported myself pronto out of the cinema and into the nearest pub where I proceeded to wash away the taste of this fetid garbage from my palette. Jumper practically defied belief it was so bad. What started out as a potentially great story involving teleportation was soon reduced to the standard high octane chase and shoot 'em up that has made the US infamo ...

This Film was very boring all the way through, i was very disappointed as the trailers looked good and exciting but didn't reflect the film. I wouldn't recommend paying to see this film.

I really like the concept behind Jumper, the storyline was well thought out.
Don't be tempted to watch it on DVD as it really needs to be viewed on the big screen. Also, not sure if there's going to be a sequel but it would be unnecessary to have one.
Definitely one worth going to see.

All in all I really hope that they make a sequel - because leaving it like this will be really frustrating. The bell character seems actually much more interesting than Christensen and they should have more screen time together. Liman shows again he is a great director, with wonderful touches of class throughout, but it feels like this is just half a movie, with so much more to give. Why do the paladins hunt the Jumpers for instance? Why haven't the paladins dealt with/killed Lane's absent mum i ...
