Good Points: An amazing piece of hardware. It surpassed every expectation that I had of it, and is the best mouse I've used in all 20 years of mouse usage.
It's very expensive, but with good reason.
    Highly recommended.

Bad Points: The only bad thing about the mouse is the price, at £49.99. It's a hell of a lot to pay for a mouse (I bought it in a PC World sale for £32.99), but once I started to use it, I understood just why it is so expensive.

General comments: The mouse comes with a tiny receiver. It extends from the USB port only about 8mm, and is perfect for laptop use. This is why I bought the mouse, but it has so much more to it.
The other big feature is its scroll wheel. I believe the same wheel is on the VX Revolution desktop mouse. It has two modes of operation. One which is a "clicky" mode where it operates like any other mouse. But press the wheel in and it operates in a smooth low-friction mode. with no clicking. This enables the user to flick the wheel and fly through long documents and web pages as the wheel continues rolling and slowly comes to a stop. It took me less than a single day to become so used to this feature that other mice started to annoy me.
The tracking on the mouse uses a laser instead of a conventional LED, and it really makes a huge difference. I can operate the mouse on just about any surface except glass. It even works perfectly when used on top of my laptop keyboard!
    Other features are:
    Two extra zoom in/out buttons/
A separate middle mouse button positioned behind the scroll wheel.
Very smooth, wide and low-friction pads underneath making the mouse feel very light when moved around.
Tactile rubber at either side of the mouse.
Ability to slot the tiny receiver into the mouse inside the battery port.
Good supplied software, enabling remapping of all buttons in Windows.
    Carrying case.
