    Traffic England used to be a really useful resource for people like myself facing a long commute to and from work.
    Since the site was 'upgraded' to use active scripting, the response time is so slow as to make it at best hopeless.

    If it ain't broke, don't fix it !

    Please Highways Agency, think about your users and get back to being a quick and accurate resource for the average joe !

    Rubbish - cannot find simple road condition of M1 Motorway in local area using www.trafficengland.com.

    Trafficengland.com is a good UK government website which has very accurate traffic information.
    The nice thing is that you also get information on traffic affected by weather. Plus you can see the motorway warning signs and be pre-warned of problems.
