Good Points: The a la carte menu offers dishes that you can't find unless going to central London

Bad Points: Some of the dishes they are to big of a portion and you can't manage a three courses meal, we never got to try the puddings as we didn't have any room left

General comments: I went to Chez Jerome last night with my wife and we were both impressed with the menu, and the flavours of which dishes. I had the Scallops with cauliflower & bacon puree which supposely they are Chefs signature starter and they were cooked to perfection, my wife had the flat mushrooms in parmesan shavings, garlic and Parma Ham and she thought that they were absolutaly lovely but to big for a starter! As main course I had the filet of beef topped with foie fgras, the meat just melted in my mouth and the foie gras is real, for my surprise and fresh and is not a pate! We couldn't try the home desserts and by then we were to full have to go back and try them as the next table had a chcolate mousse that looked fantastic. Chez Jerome can get expensive when you wish to try their best dishes and a bottle of chauteaux neuf du pape! But is well worth every penny

My scallops were tasteless, no seasoning and they didnt taste fresh. The cauliflour puree was awful. My partners Duck with Orange Sauce was not great, virtually no sauce, nd my main course of Veal Medalions was tasteless and tough. The presentation was good, but perhaps the usual chef was away. I chose it based on the reviews I had read but would never go again.

The food at Il Millefiori is excellent and the front house welcoming and warm. The service very professional and the surroundings is rustic but very clean. The only proper restaurant we have in Dunstable for sure.

The background for Il Millefiori, Chez Jerome Dunstable has been in Michelin stared restaurants and they only work with good products. The surroundings is rustic and they have made from the menus and looks the contraction of the old and modern. I think is fantastic to go to a place where you have the old fashion, keep traditional, professional but also modern, relaxed and more open range.
