    Good Points: Drop-dead gorgeous looks.Great performance from the Cosworth engine.Unrivalled driving experience.


    Bad Points: None, unless you count the lack of a roof - or maybe that's a good point?
    Not an "everyday" car due to the distinct lack of a massive boot or rear seats.


    General comments: A truly entertaining kit car and roadster in the style of its original Lotus 7 ancestor, the Caterham 7 K-Series Classic must surely be about as much fun as you can have driving. Designed by Colin Chapman and built continuously in at least some form since 1957, it's evolved to include new engines though time, but in any form it retains its lightweight and nimble handling formula and distinctive appearance that makes any other car feel leaden in comparison. Late 2004 saw the introduction of the CSR, the most comprehensive re-development of the Seven ever. It brings a redeveloped chassis, inboard suspension and a Cosworth developed engine.The Lotus 7 eventually became the core of Caterham Cars, yet despite the change of company and arrival of the 21st century, the immortal Caterham 7 is still a beautiful and racy roadster by even the most demanding eyes will behold with awe.
