    I would not book anything with Do You Spain ever again, it was the first time to book car rental with them and it will definitely be the last and I would not recommend anybody else to either unless you want the possibility of being faced with a much larger bill than you anticipated.

    I prebooked car hire at a cost of 193 Euros(for which I had a voucher) plus the cost of a tank of petrol. When I arrived at the airport I was faced with a bill of £370.00.

    I have since e-mailed Do You Spain to try and get this sorted but surprise, surprise they have not responded.

    when we arrived at airport they had failed to send details so we were left stranded for two hours until we had to pay55 euro for a private taxi, when i arrived at our hotel i went on the internet to tell them we still needed a hire car but unfortunately i am still waiting to hear from them and we are now home, i will not use this company again no matter how good they are , especially when they have not got the decency to answer emails back.

    We booked a ford focus station wagon from do you spain via record rent a car. We had a 2 hr wait for the car which was nearly as long as the flight, When eventually it was our turn we didnt get the car we booked and ended up with a peugeot 306 we where told thats all they had! paid 65 euros for tank of deisel, car hadnt been cleaned rear brake light didnt work but we had waited so long for the car we just went to our destination almeria. 3days into our holday the power steering failed we calle ...

    As soon as I saw the car I said to the staff, are you sure is this? Couldn't open or close properly, dirty, non of the hub cups and more than 60.000kms. "It's fine"- they said. Some days later on the way home the police stopped me and ask me for the papers, after a while they said the car had not passed the MOT. Can you believe it?     The que at the Record Car Hire desk is longest because they quote the cheapest online but you get conned at the desk. The online Record go quote was 103 Euro and the ad said insurance is included but at the desk, it was different. I showed the printout which said insurance is included but was told underside is not covered!!! Had to pay another 20 euros for the insurance but the best con is the petrol.     UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GO NEAR THIS COMPANY I RECEIVED A VOUCHER TO PICK UP A CAR AT THE RECORD CAR HIRE OFFICE AT 03-00 HRS THEY HAD MY FLIGHT NUMBER I ARRIVED AT 02-00 HRS RECORD OFFICE CLOSED I WAITED 3HRS NO ONE APPEARED AT 06-00 I HAD TO HIRE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY AT AN EXTORSUNATE RATE.     The original price of around £200 ended up being around £330 by the time they get you to grade up on the insurance. Then pay for a full tank of diesel which has to be taken back empty. I've used them a few times but am now sick of them and will go elsewhere next year. The only good point is we were upgraded from the Citreon A2 to a Peaugot 206, but it was coverd in dents and stank of smoke.

    The 'Do you Spain' vehicle we picked up was very battered and not very clean. After 2 days it broke down and a whole day of our holiday was wasted sorting this out. The 2nd car we got was also very battered and not very clean. Also the air conditioning did not work and the car would not lock! Worse still - we have been back from holiday for 4 weeks now and cannot get anyone from the company to compensate us for a poor car and wasted time. Steer well clear from using this company.     I was really nervous about having booked with doyouspain following adverse reviews and bad reprts generally about hiring cars in Spain this summer. I shouldn't have worried. There was only a short queue at the Goldcars desk, we were processed promptly and at the agreed price. The car (Mercedes A-class) was in good condition with under 10,000km on the clock.     Was nervous when saw so many negative reviews about doyouspain.com and AURIGA CROWN RENT A CAR prior to visiting - booked with them because of price. Quoted 207Euros for Ford Focus-Wagon 5 door A/C or similar for 9 days. (thought if prob would just get taxi and sort car hire out following day).     This was the best value for money car we could find on the internet. We booked an economy car and were given an almost brand new Renault Megane at no extra cost. The car was in excellent condition with no problems. We arrived late evening and met the Company in an allocated car park space we were approx 3rd in line and were dealt with quickly and efficiently.     I have used Do you Spain twice with no problems at all.The first time the car was upgraded to a bigger model at no extra cost.The only thing was that there was a long queue at the hire desk

    There have been a lot of bad reviews about this car hire agent and their associated hire companies. My own experiance was very good. I booked Ford Focus in June at a competetive rate. I arrived at Palma airport 22/08/09 car hire desk was in the baggage reclaim hall at the airport (Auriga Crown). Staff were friendly and efficient.     Similar issues experienced to everyone else! No hidden costs! We paid Do you Spain for the extra waiver insurance but because we were hiring a 7 seater we were also told we had to pay a further 600euros to make sure we took the car back, lost out on exchange rate by £30 just as well we had available balance on the credit card! Also would agree with other review about rent a records car seats they were rank especially when if you want a booster you can pay 10euro in carrefor for one! Has an ...

    Have used doyouspain maybe 11 or 12 times over the last 4-5 years (Alicante, Murcia, Majorca and Gerona mainly)and always recommend them to my workmates and friends. Will be using them again in November for two weeks in Gran Canaria. Never had any problems with the cars. On 3 occasions the cars have been absolutely brand new with less than 15km on the clock (delivery mileage) I always order the smallest car as there are just 2 of us and have been given free upgrade to diesel cars or bigger cars ...

    The shortage of rental cars (smaller fleets) due to second hand car market drop is by no mean DoYouSpain's fault as they're only the middle man.
    But it must be annoying to the holiday makers arriving at the airport in the middle of the night to find out that there is no car as the car rental companies did not honor the bookings made six months prior for half of the price. I think you would be upset to the actual car hire company and DoYouSpain for leaving you car-less & with less holiday money ...

    Nervous of picking up car after poor reviews but no money paid up front so took the chance. Queue was long but noone could better our price by 200 euro. Sat it out and got a Renault Scenic - not really clean but good enough for a family with 3 small children. Do you Spain tried to push extra insurance but again we took a chance. Would happily use again

    I don't understand the comments of the english people.
    For several years I rent a car at 'Do you spain' and never had troubles
    or remarks.
    Every time I've got a confirmation with the rigt place to get the car
    at the price given in advance.
    Never had problems. I find the firm very honest and correct.
    I recommended firm to several Belgian people who were very satisfied about price and services.
    Maybe Belgians are more happy people who do not cry when something goes wrong.
