Club penguin is very fun but I don't think it is fair that members get all the cool things but non members get the not so cool things. I would describe it as a great app if your a member but if your a non member it is fun but not as fun as being a member.

club penguin is idiotic you need a membership for everything so stupid you cant have anything for your igloo nothing for clothes so you want us penguins to walk around naked or something if not a member you can only have 2 puffles (bkue and red) i hate club penguin my daughter is rich on teir and wants to have so many puffles and clothes and stuff like that but she cant because she isnt a paid membership so basically its a rip off and on your review page where it says poor could be greatly mproved for overall score you guys are lucky i even gave u 2 stars i should have put none none at all but my daughter said just give it 2 its all it needs my daughter told me to write this that is saying something fix it or you you will have 5 less players and my papers and stories will be in the paper telling kids that you are a rip off

I signed my grand daughter up for this club and it expres in August. What a mistake that was!! She has not been able to play the gane three fourths of the time because she can not load the site. It is not the firewall, flash, etc that is the problem. We have tried it on several different computers in different locations. I have contacted the site a couple times. I would like a refund but forget that. So, I would think twice about buying a membership for something that equal free games.

first of all, you have to buy a member ship to do half of the stuff on this game . I think and everyone should think that you do not have to have a paid member ship to buy things. Also the people who created this are stupid . they need to change the member ship thing or every one I know is not going to play this games agin . FIX THE DUMB CHANGES YOU DUMB PEOPLE ALSO THIS GAME IS THE WOST GAME EVER.why did i think i would like this games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lemme tell you something... Club Penguin is HORRIBLE and the reason why it's horrible is because it's pay to have fun.The reason why I started to play it (for like 30 minutes) is because that my friend told me that it was pretty fun... I dunno what's wrong with his head. There is i went to the clothes store, and i tried to buy something. it had that loading thing like it was going to buy it, but all of the sudden... it said that you have to BUY A MEMBERSHIP TO BUY CLOTHES! I mean, at least some games have clothes for freeloaders... I'd just stick to some Ps3 for awhile.

After much pestering, we signed up our little boy (then aged 6) to Club Penguin and it wasn't really all that great. Previously, he'd been playing on both Moshi Monsters and Bin Weevils, both of which he'd found really engrossing, so we'd assumed he'd love Club Penguin. But while the experience was much of a muchness (control your character, play games, buy extra stuff etc) it somehow fell a little flat and he barely showed any interest in it once he'd been signed up. In fact we cancelled after a month or two because he was getting so little out of it. Perhaps the most annoying thing was the limited playability before signing up (the huge majority of activities seemed to require membership, whereas other similar sites you can do a lot more for free). Aside from that, it also seemed dreadfully slow to load - perhaps just because of its popularity. Anyway, as stated, the boy soon tired and wanted to go back to Moshi Monsters, which is exactly what we did!

Club penguin is fabulous because there is famous penguins and you get stamps and im glad you dont get a level because if you play binweevils you have to be on a certain level to buy stuff. On club penguin you dont have to be on a level. The only thing that i dont like about club penguin is that on binweevils you get trophes and on club penguin you dont. written by my 8 year old.

club penguin is such a problem child, especially with ie9 (beta).
it doesn't work as well as it has in the past.
on the other hand, the game is really good.
as a fellow penguin myself, it is fun and there is loads to see and do(mostly members).
the most dissapointing part about it is the fact is you need to be a paying member to access all of it, only a few things are for free members.
otherwise a really worthwhile game suitable for all ages.

Club Penguin is a fun, interactive virtual world for young children up to about the age of 13. Club Penguin is now owned by disney and has completely changed. Taken place today was a protest on Club Penguin complaining that it has changed way to much and the fellow penguins of Club Penguin want the old CP back and that there was no change. When you first join like all other virtual world's you have a free account. With this account you can only do a limited number of things and cannot get everything they want to. The membership amounts vary. For a monthly payment and account you will pay £3.95 and get extra coins on Club Penguin of 1,000. You may also have a six month membership for £19.95 and get extra coins on Club Penguin of 6,000. Or you may have 12 months for £37.95 and have extra coins of 12,000. Penguins want membership but to some people it is to expensive. Club Penguin has changed and people like it but to some people it has changed just too much.

Just a warning: we had signed up for a month membership but its one of those things that automatically renews your billing unless you cancel. 15 months later when we next used it, we discovered we'd been billed ever since. Bad decision. Stay away!

Club Penguin is strongly not recommended for anyone in their upper described user range (ie. 11-14), and not recommended for anyone else either. Some people I know aged between 9 and 14 all disliked it, due to it's childish atmosphere, and complete pointlessness. People I asked between age 11 and 14 also seemed to think it was too strictly moderated, sometimes even banning a user for saying simple words such as "got", and failing to realise that many people called Richard often go by the name "Dick". I also spoke to a very upset young girl called Frances that was very upset that she couldn't join with the name "FannyGirl". In Frances' case it was an awkward situation for the parents as they had difficulty informing the innocent young girl what a "Fanny" was. Overall, this game is nothing but negative. It is non-constructive and not a good use of children's time.

My sons love Club Penguin. I initially thought it was great as I could set the timer to limit the time they would be able to sneak off quietly and use it when I wasn't aware! However, the timer does not seem to be working and although I set a limit of 2 hours, they are only able to play for 30 minutes before being logged off. I have contacted customer services and said that because of this they are not really getting their money's worth ( which incidentally I'm making them pay for the membership themselves) but the response I got was a little unsatisfactory in that they said that it was something they were aware of but at the moment couldn't do anything about.
