Club Penguin is strongly not recommended for anyone in their upper described user range (ie. 11-14), and not recommended for anyone else either. Some people I know aged between 9 and 14 all disliked it, due to it's childish atmosphere, and complete pointlessness. People I asked between age 11 and 14 also seemed to think it was too strictly moderated, sometimes even banning a user for saying simple words such as "got", and failing to realise that many people called Richard often go by the name "Dick". I also spoke to a very upset young girl called Frances that was very upset that she couldn't join with the name "FannyGirl". In Frances' case it was an awkward situation for the parents as they had difficulty informing the innocent young girl what a "Fanny" was. Overall, this game is nothing but negative. It is non-constructive and not a good use of children's time.

My sons love Club Penguin. I initially thought it was great as I could set the timer to limit the time they would be able to sneak off quietly and use it when I wasn't aware! However, the timer does not seem to be working and although I set a limit of 2 hours, they are only able to play for 30 minutes before being logged off. I have contacted customer services and said that because of this they are not really getting their money's worth ( which incidentally I'm making them pay for the membership ...- Read Guest's review (123 words)

My boys used Club Penguin for a while and grew bored with it. I tried to cancel the paid, monthly membership but their site would not allow me to do so. I sent an email to their customer service department, but my credit card was charged again. I sent another email asking for a credit because they did not cancel the membership as I requested. They refused to take care of the credit. I sent another emai, and they refused again. I sent yet another email, but so far nothing has been done. Sadly, cu ...- Read Dadof2's review (120 words and 1 comment)

Great Charity event. You can donate your points to a certain charity and it will turn into real money..
I really was totally not impressed. I did not like this site there was not enough to do there wasn't any spot to find all the games, no one was helpful in my opinion and no body was really actually even friendly.
I do not recommend clubpenguin.com.- Read aaestprm's review (71 words)
