bought a wart remover, only to find on opening, its not for facial application. Sent 2 emails neither answered, so phoned customer service purely to ask why there was no mention on the website description. And also to ask if I there was returns free, to which the answer is no!!!. so item cost £9.99 plus £ 3.49 postage. so if I did send it back paying postage the postage almost cancels out cost of medication. A customer since 2011, not now!!!!!

My wife and I ordered sun tan lotion a few weeks in advance of our upcoming holiday. The first issue arose when the courier service Hermes attempted to deliver the goods and left a " I am sorry I missed you" card. It claimed it was their second attempt when in fact it was the first attempt. We phoned the number on the card and it just rang out with no voicemail or message leaving facility to re-arrange delivery. They then attempted delivery again for the second time which they noted would be their third and final time. Another card, another call not answered, frustrating thing being that their is a Hermes parcel delivery shop just round the corner from us where it could have been left ( not an option on their website when placing the order). We then phoned the main Hermes courier depot who claimed they could not talk to us about it and that we needed to contact Chemist Direct to rearrange any future delivery attempts. I spoke with a very pleasant employee at chemist direct who apologised and said that he would resolve the issues. Whilst he was a nice guy his problem solving skills seemed to be lacking and the issue only ever seemed to be moved along by me phoning up to chase for an update. Around six phone calls later we were no closer to a resolution and our holiday was now two days away. Tim now confirmed that delivery before our holiday would not be possible but they could deliver while we were away. Explaining that sun tan lotion after my holiday was not much use i cancelled my order and they agreed to process a full refund. That said they also promised to resolve my issue and deliver my goods so I will not take a straightforward refund as a given. Not what I needed in the run up to my hols.

I ordered some aftershave,a week later I phoned to see why it had not been delivered and was told the courier had not picked it up. I was then told it would be reordered and sent out.A week later I phoned again and was told it was "lost in transit". I was offered a refund back into my paypal account within 48 hrs which did indeed happen.It is a shame that this company does not seem able to sort itself out. I and many other people will say "once bitten twice shy"

I bought ten starter packs of Nicorette inhalator. When they arrived, I noticed that all of them had lapsed. The strength of the product had significantly diminished and was definitely not up to standard. I brought this to their attention with four emails. Up to now I have not received a single reply to any of these emails. I will definitely think twice about ordering from them again in future.

Having had previously good relations with this company, I placed an order on 6th December 2013. Part was received promptly but I have STILL not received the balance (27th January 2014). I was fobbed off with the usual excuse of IT problems in processing the order. I was also told that some products (perfumes) are outsourced and sent directly which they have no control over. Ironically the perfume product received WAS delivered promptly from this outside supplier! I have since cancelled and will hopefully get a refund...........

Accepted my order then sent me an email asking health questions which should have been asked BEFORE accepting the order. Wasted a lot of my time.Will not buy from them again !!!!

The item did not work and I promptly returned it and requested a refund. Instead they sent me a replacement and then said they couldn't refund me until the second item was returned. I heard from 2 or three people none of whom seemed to know what the other was doing. I finally told them that they were required by law to refund my money for a defective product if requested. At that point I was told the refund would be sent. It's a shame the refund dept is so inadequate because the items offered on the site are good value for money and delivery is prompt. I would have gone on using the site on a regular basis if not for the experience with the refund.

First order from Chemist Direct and will be my last. Ordered 4 items. Took ages to get order confirmed, name on order was wrong when it did arrive! Now STILL waiting for order, not impressed at all.

I have no idea how good the product is, I ordered a week ago, got told it was dispatched Wednesday and its still not here! I'd rather pay a little extra at a chemist and have the product then, than wait this long for something! Will not be ordering again! Go to your local chemist!

My order was packed really well and dispatched speedily.However what let the whole process down was hermes the couriers.I was particularly waiting for some dressings that I ordered as I needed them.however due to my order taking so long to get here,I went out and bought what I needed from the high street.By the time my order got here I didn't need it. AS A COMPANY you should seriously consider changing couriers.

Chemist direct - great product prices, rip off postage and delivery times. Order to be delivered to republic of ireland. Postage costs - 17GBP (the order was very small/light in weight) I had post arrive from China that was ordered on the same day and i didnt pay no where near 17gbp. I wont be using this site again, rip of postage costs for something that takes over two weeks to arrive ( it still hasnt arrived and the live help desk at chemist direct have told me theres no way to track it). Amazon.co.uk all the way - at least when you pay a premium postage cost, you get a premium postage service. And what cheap ass courier/transit company CANT PROVIDE tracking - even though they give you a tracking number?

I like the fact I can order online, but the slow delivery is making me reconcider using them again. I might live abroad but I have used other online services and they deliver within 5-6 days. I am still waiting on my order, almost 2 weeks on.

My order arrived quickly but wasn't what I wanted and as what they sent and what I wanted were in completely different places on the screen I don't see how they could say it was my mistake. Customer services were completely dismissive about me claiming there had been an error. It was a case of 'computer says no' Will certainly never be using them again.

Thought the price was good till I went into Boots and found the same produce for less than Chemist Direct. Also I did not have to pay delivery!

Haven't received an email to tell me that there has been any issues. On checking the delivery status it states that the address couldn't be verified and it was returned to sender. I still have not received an email from chemist direct and I don't understand why my address couldn't be verified as I double checked it. Very disappointed with the service, won't be using this website again.

They did not use Royal Mail... that`s why i can`t track my order..and after 10 days i still didn`t receive anything. So if u want ur goods fast than u should use another shop. The Service itself is fine..

I ordered first time and the order was late, I contacted them and they just made me wait longer and I will eventually have to wait over a month and it it doesn't arrive then they will proceed with a refund!!
