Good Points: Wide range of products advertised. Apparently good prices. Easy to use website
General comments: Picking system. Goods delivered did not match those ordered. Of 4 items ordered, all 4 failed to match description on invoice. Whether they substitute with inferior items or have somebody picking them who can't read I do not know.
Customer service - no response received so far either by telephone (told to email), email or a chaser using the online form.
Worst online shopping experience ever for me. Wish I'd read the reviews on this page before ordering!

Great prices on everyday items from Chemist Direct, the service was excellent. I placed my order at 4 pm and received it in the morning post by royal mail the following morning.

First time I ordered it took a week to arrive which made me really angry but I kicked up such a fuss they seem to have learnt their lesson. I think they're pretty good and have got some savings which I can't get in shops so am using them to try and save money.

I've been using Chemist Direct for a while now and am pleased with the savings but agree their customer service may need some improvements. Have noticed it getting better since I started using them so maybe they're listening to people like us and getting that side of things sorted out. I have recommended them to others for savings but tentatively.

I've used them twice now, and won't be using them again. I just placed an order a week ago, they took the money from my card on the same day but not a sign of the order. I have emailed them twice but all I have been given is a query number and a promise that they would get back to me. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Goods still haven't arrived although they claim that they process 90% if their orders within 1 working day.
Chemist direct have taken money out of my account and haven't even sent through that I ordered. Customer Service stated that the delay is due to the order not being in stock. Having challenged them stating that the website says that the goods are in stock, the customer service rep stated that she will check and get back to me...I'm still waiting for a call and I'm down £40.

on receipt of incorrect items from Chemist Direct, rang 0845 number to ask for correct replacement items. Told to e mail and they would advise how to return. Did send e mail but havn't received any reply yet. Have bought on line for years. Worst experience ever. Will never order/buy from them again.

Cheap prices. Usually a few quid less than anyone else. I placed my order with Chemist Direct, having checked that everything was in stock. I then received an email stating that the goods would be despatched within 24 hours. However, nothing arrived. Having waited a week and still no goods or explanation, I requested that my order should be cancelled. I was then told that this would happen and that they would credit my credit card back in 3-4 working days - in other words, I will have had a charge on my account for almost 2 weeks and yet no goods ...

I always shop on the web and as a student I was attracted by the prices that seem to be fairly reasonable for what toiletries I was ordering, but my order was delivered incorrectly with an expensive mach3 razor missing and then my debit card was overcharged.
Getting this sorted out by them was extremely trying / difficult and I think shopping with www.chemistdirect.co.uk is not worth the aggro at all.
Could not possibly recommend them to anyone to shop there.

Ive had a horrendous experience trying to get a private prescription order from www.chemistdirect.co.uk. It was sent to them and I called and checked that they got it and was informed that they had it. Over a week later I hadn't received my order and was informed that they had sent it but I couldn't find it in my account on their website my card has been charged for the prescription order AND the special delivery that I asked for.
I don't have my order or prescription as of yet and Chemist Dire ...

The drug I ordered was shown as in stock on website and when phoned. Ordered and sent prescription. 1 week later- email stating drug not in stock. Checked website- in stock. I cannot find any means of contacting without phoning.

ChemistDirect.co.uk has been my worst online shopping experience in my life. ChemistDirect.co.uk ignored my numerous cancellation requests and have not send me money back. It has been 3 months I am waiting for refund. I am a regular online shopper and I have never had such a horrible experience with customer service. The website www.chemistdirect.co.uk is clearly laid out and has a good selection of items. Found it easy to shop and could ask questions using their live help feature. Wide range of products which I found to cost less than my local Boots. Delivery was fast and items were well packages. Have recommended them to my friends who have also now used their service.

I'm sorry the person below feels this way as I have just used chemist direct and they were really good. I ordered my asthma products after getting a prescription from my doctor. My order was dealt with quickly by their team and I received my medication within a few days. As I find it difficult to get out I find this has really helped and definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to get their prescriptions delivered directly to their homes.

I would definitely recommend Chemist Direct. I have been a hayfever sufferer all my life and every summer I spend a fortune on hayfever treatments. This site is very good for cetrizine tablets which they sell for 39p compared to high street shops which sell them for ten pounds! This is also cheaper than other websites. I have been buying my cetrizine from them all summer and I have been delighted with the service and they always deliver on time. I would definitely recommend them.

I shop online for almost everything; the only area I had not used for online shopping was for both private and NHS prescriptions.
After researching products and prices on with all online chemists, I decided I'd try chemistdirect only because the mailing address is Leeds and I'm in Liverpool which made it one of the closest.
I mailed my private prescription by recorded delivery and the next day confirmed online with Royal Mail it had been delivered to them.

I placed an order with Chemist Direct on 22 May, waited about a week with no sign of delivery and emailed customer service. They didn't reply.
I then 'spoke' to a 'live advisor' on the website who told me that the reason my order was delayed was because the vitamin pills were out of stock - she said they would be in stock next day and my order would be despatched. I asked if there was likely to be another delay, would somebody contact me and let me know? She said 'yes'.

Great that chemist direct can do these items for so little. Will be using them again when I run out. Good range of products. Excellent service! I am a student, so I cannot afford to be spending loads on hayfever tablets. Chemist Direct have saved me around 15 quid.
