    I used Chemist Direct website for the first time on 5/11/09 and ordered above which was much cheaper than other sites. The website was attractive, easy to find what wanted. There was nothing I could say I didn't like as it was so straight forward.

    Yesterday, I decided to look at the reviews for this Chemist Direct and was shocked to see how disappointed people had been and the bad reviews. I started to worry. Needn't have, this morning I received my order, which was pretty quick. Glad I didn't look at the negative reviews before purchasing.

    I have been on other websites which have been diabolical and others say its been great. So can understand people who have a bad experience writing negative reviews.

    I can't fault Chemist Direct.

    As with everyone else - placed order - they took the money, promised delivery but nothing came. Part of order they said was in stock - is now found to be discontinued and I may eventually get the money (on loan to them) back.
    Other part of the order has clearly not been despatched the next day as promised as it's nearly been two weeks and nothing.
    The web site looks good, prices are competitive but after that it's a big black hole.

    Had to wait ages for this order. When it arrived I received a refill eyebrow pencil instead of the original pencil that I ordered and I was charged £22.95 for the item I didn't receive. These people are not answering my emails. Beware of this company - you may strike lucky on the other hand!!

    Chemist direct were really useful for all the bits and pieces I needed to take on holiday with me. They stocked everything I needed to buy, and especially for things like suncream, they saved me a lot of money. I'd really recommed them to anyone that needs to stock up on things like paracetamol and deodorant, as its much cheaper than anywhere like Boots.

    The price shown is fantastic value, well below half of normal. Drawn in by this and promise of 48hr delivery placed order on 11/10/09 with site showing in stock. Two calls later and told item being delivered to them on Friday 23/10/09 and be despatched that day. Called today, 26/10/09, and promised call back but have received E mail to say despatched.     This is my experience with Chemist Direct:

    I had placed an Order from US for few Wavesense Jazz products which is not widely available in US online websites or stores. After two days I didn't receive any update and had an online chat with their executive.

    FAKE TABLETS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

    I ordered Proscar and was sent a FAKE Indian version instead. Not what I ordered. The customer service was terrible and the pharmacist did not care and was extremely rude. I was offered no refund, even though I didn't get what I ordered and the tablets were fake.

    Please don't use this company, they are the worst I have ever dealt with.

    They accept orders for goods they don't have in stock. Then they remove the goods from the order without asking you if you want the rest of goods. What is even more weird though is that the goods they maintain they don't have in stock still remain available to buy on line. I had one order with them that went through perfectly, but the second was a disaster. I won't use them again.

    I placed an order on Friday, expecting to receive within the 24 hours as stated. Today (Monday) I get an email telling me that their security has found a discrepancy with my card and they have cancelled the order.

    Since I paid with Paypal this is clearly rubbish.

    I am furious. Paypal transaction has gone through and I am £40.00 down and no goods.

    I never actually received anything I ordered. After placing the initial order i waited 2 weeks for product. When nothing arrived i called the customer service line and was told they would be dispatched immediately. Still nothing arrived and a week later i received a very brief email informing me the order had been cancelled - no explaination as to why. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Chemist Direct.

    Shocking service! Have been in constant contact with Chemist Direct's 'customer service' (I use that term very loosly) who have now told me I have to wait until the 5th Oct before they will consider my deliver as lost. Don't be fooled by their low prices, I would rather pay double and get a better service.

    Shockingly bad. Received wrong goods so I contacted Chemist Direct immediately. Took them 2 weeks to send envelope for returns; now 4 weeks later and they still haven't sent the correct items. Told various pathetic excuses (often that the "system is down"). 6 weeks and four days, still no items.

    Chemist direct promised 3-6 days for delivery. Day 12 and still nothing has been shipped yet. Customer Service are morons, all they say is "I can only apologise, will inform warehouse". But they do nothing. How did I fall for this ? I was naive in not checking about them before. DO NOT SHOP AT CHEMIST DIRECT (UNITED KINGDON). They are cheats.

    Ordered cat food on 10 September due to Chemist Direct's low price and promise of fast free delivery. When nothing had arrived by 15 September contacted CD through their website.

    I was advised order had not been shipped and was told they could not guarantee to deliver the next day. I told them that this was unacceptable as I was going away on 17 September and asked to cancel the order and be given a refund. This request was ignored.

    SHOULD BE NO STARS

    Chemist Direct are an absolute shambles,ordered on 04/09 dispatched 14/09 told will be delivered tommorrow despite the "customer services" operative did not know that where the parcel was - at HUB3 wherever that is. All they say is sorry but do not actually do anything. Part of the order is missing, no emails to say any of this infact no emails from them at all.


    Their stock levels are not live - beware.

    My order was not processsed for a week, when I queried this the customer suport rep told me "Oh I will need to check with the warehouse, I don't think they got the email"

    When the order was eventually dispatched it was incomplete, no one informed me that I would not receive two items. Shoddy website, shoddy service, I will never use Chemist Direct again.

    Excellent customer service. Chemist Direct Website is simple and user-friendly. Information is clear. Ordering system is simple. Although I recieved some wrong orders, customer service responded to my email and replacement was done hastle-free. Definitely good value for money. I would buy again.

    I placed my order with Chemist Direct and received the goods in a reasonable time. However, out of twelve items there were three different problems. A bottle of talc was open in the package and covered everything else, one item had contents missing and the third item was TWO YEARS out of Use By date!
    CD customer service apologised and promised to send replacements. Then nothing for a week. Another email and another apology with an assurance that the replacements would be dispatched immediately. ...
