Good Points: Very nippy and easy to drive. Mine is a 2 door and I can get three child seats in the back. My local scrap yard has 4 in stock so parts are very easy and the car is easy to work on.
Bad Points: Can rust around arches and sills, but so can all cars, the fan belt is a pain to adjust, you have to remove front wheel and wing liner. So buy a new one and do it once. Cooling system must be kept in top condition or the head gasket will blow.
General comments: The cooling system needs a flush every 2 years to keep it in top condition, then the head gasket won't blow, but 1/2 hour every couple of years is OK. Also the rear trailing arms need greasing every year or they will fail, but again £5 for a grease gun and it's a 10 min job.

It takes about the whole of 2 minutes to lower and when lowered handle like a gokart and for a 1.1 8 valve are quite rapid. I have gotten some good speeds out of one on the way ...- Read stevebrandie's review (211 words)
