This is a great electric ready to run r/c car, good battery life on one supplied. Great for doing jumps and donuts, nice and quick really resposive cant fault it. Came supplied with Nimh car battery, battery charger and remote that just needed AA batterys. Excellent for value for money at less than £100. (read more)

Don't waste your money unless you want cheap quality truck, you'd be better off with HSP/Amex (or similar) brushless version £145 which look identical to the Strada MT. http://www.hispeedmodel.com/product.asp?bianhao=94111PRO
Parts for these are cheaper and in my opinion better quality than the Maverick(HPI) model. They also have a guard over the Pinion/Spur to stop small stones from getting in. Run on 2S Lipo it will give 30+mph 3S will give 40+mph verified with SatNav. The basic 540 motor... (read more)

This Maverick Strada MT 1/10 RTR Electric Monster Truck is fast, durable and great value for money. I've completely upgraded mine but stock is fast. The aerial can fit through the aerial tube. You just need to leave some slack at the bottom or wind it round the top of the tube and place the cap over the wided wire. The only thing i'm looking for is some aluminium hop-ups and what turn motor it can take without overgearing or undergearing. I've put shock covers, Mtroniks RV11 ESC, Mtroniks... (read more)

Bought this Ready To Run Car for my 8 year old son having owned 1/10 electric kits myself many years ago.
This kit is strong and well engineered and fantastic value (paid £99 complete with radio from Midland Models Walsall). It's controllable enough for a beginner but fast enough to have some real fun. Being 4WD it will comfortably handle reasonable terrain without problem.

If for any reason "and i cant think of one" you want more from you MT ALL parts are upgradeable and sold separately great if you love tinkering for me its enough to handle FOR NOW the MT comes with, no AA batteries for controller so you will need to buy 8 of them. The Maverick Srada MT is very strong i have already had it jumping and the 8 point oil; filled suspension is a touch of genius. Out of the box the receiver aerial wire is too long for the plastic tube so UP TO YOU but i cut mine... (read more)
