I send money to my friend in Canada last Friday and until now she hasn't Recieve the money. It's been 3 days. the money is for emergency use for chemotherapy so I send money again thru western union today 2 hours ago and they already recieved the money. I'm just hoping they will Recieve the money by tomorrow. TFC advertise this company and if she won't Recieve the money by tomorrow I will file a complain via TFC. If I can give -0, then I would. My experience in using Xoom is so terrible that it cost me $ 200 because money that I have sent in the Philippines was not available for pick up on the same day after minutes of sending it. The amount was already debited out from my account after going through verification process by the fraud department. Same experience I send money thru Xoom last Friday and until now they haven't Recieve the money. I send money thru western union 2 hours ago and they already recieved the money. Never use this again. They even have commercial to this Filipino channel TFC. If my friend won't Recieve the money by tomorrow I will call the television company and complain about this remetance company tell them that it's a crime. BE CAREFULL USING THIS REMETANCE COMPANY.

Hi All, I would say that Xoom is the best in the business. I was able to send the amount in seconds from US account to Indian account. My suggestion is that you can transfer money very easily and fast than any other service. It has a locked-in exchange so will know what is the exact amount that will be received. If you are looking for a company that can deliver your funds on time fast and easy, XOOM IS NOT THE ANSWER! I did transfer funds recently using XOOM and expecting fast and quick results but it was a big mistake. Ive done a transaction with them for $200 had to call the verification team and im not going to lie the first person i talked to was very accomodating and friendly. 2nd transaction amountinf $1000 they asked me for personal information such as id and bank statements which i did send then i called and was told i failed the verification process charged my debit card for the money and was told i had to wait 3 to 5 days for refund and use a different transfer agency from now on. Xoom advertises to transfer money to India in 4 Hours however it is totally misleading. This is not true when you use your US bank account to transfer money. It takes more that 4 days if you are using real money in your checking account. When I called CS, their response was, if I use Credit Cards its possible..why not? he he..They charge 5$ per transaction. I was using xoom. One day I go to use it and it says my account has been suspended for a violation. I have called and called to find out what violation I had and they will not tell me. I do not know what I did wrong and they still say they are not allowed to tell me. Who are they allowed to tell then? I will not recommend XOOM. Why do I receive a message that my payment source is already in use?

This message occurs when you attempt to enter a payment source into more than one Xoom account. Our system is configured for users to have only one account, which they access by entering their email address as a login. For security purposes, we do not allow the same payment source to be in use by more than one account. To resolve this, please follow these instructions:
Log into to your original Xoom account. If you created a new account because you no longer use or do not prefer your old email address, please enter this email address along with your original Xoom password.
When you are logged in to your original account, click on "My Account," in the upper right-hand corner. Click on "Email Addresses” under Account Services.
Here you can change your email address to your current address.
