    Please spare yourself the heartache to deal with this company.

    ZERO customer service, your best bet if your transaction has no human involvement because once you end up in their circle of customer reps there is no end. The only person you can talk to is someone that just reads from scripts and has NO authority to resolve issues.

    Their exchange rate is the lowest, the fee is cheap but they will dig you in exchange rate. They take more of your money in a hidden way. Check exchange rates before using XOOM.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bad customer service, bad experience overall. Xoom contacted me to say my transaction had not been funded, when I called them to find out why, they refused to let me cancel the transaction and are insisting I use a credit card (and have to pay their extortionate fees) to fund the transaction instead of them processing the bank account details I gave them.     The service has gotten quicker over time. These days, my transfers take less than 10 minutes to become available. The service is inexpensive and very reliable. Customer service has always been great.

    My wife has gone to local bank three times to collect money and all three times they refused to give her money saying they dont know about the service. If a bank in city like mumbai doesn't know about Xoom, how can we trust them...I even requested their customer care to change my order to home delivery so that my wife doesn't have to go through hassle, but of no use....Highly dissappointed with their service.

    I was surprised how quickly the first time that I sent money via Xoom (2000.00 US) the transaction was done the same day within minutes. Unfortunately, the second time the transaction took several hours (I chose the quick service using a debit or credit card) and I had to cancel, XOOM withhold the money and got it back not until FIVE business days.     I used Xoom to send $300 to my husband in China. I was impressed by their low fees and how quick they claimed to send it. I used a credit card which according to them is even quicker than sending it by bank account. I was glad that he would be receiving the money probably the same day, we needed the money quick for a very urgent matter.     I just use Xoom a couple of times, service-wise I had no problem. When I compared the fees and exchange rate to other money-remittnace company, wow, I found it very greedy.

    Check this if I am wrong, Xoom may charge a little lower fees than the others as they are advertising themselves, -agree.     After seeing lot of negative reviews about zoom and i was initialy hesitant to do transaction with zoom, but after my positive experience i wish to share it. I had to transfer around 9500 USD to france, when i inquired with Moneygram and western union their service charge came around 350 USD. so i decided to try zoom.     I have done many transfers with Xoom and the service has performed very well. It is so much easier to use than going to the bank to send money.

    Ive used xoom twice, the first time it went without a problem. The next time is took all day to get the money.

    A year later I tried again and sending less than $100 out of my bank account, the transaction was canceled by xoom for no reason.

    Really, this is money we are talking about and if you value your transfer at all, why waste time with this outfit when there are so many other ways to remit. It seems xoom just cant quite get their act together. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

    I sent money through xoom last Aug.12,2009,despite their low exchange rate.But i was considering the convenience that I don't have to go to the remittance center or western union.All I have to do is to access online.And they were saying that it will just take minutes for the transaction either tru pick-up or bank deposits.But until now the money is not available.     Xoom is absolutely the worst service I have ever used. Don't believe all the hype about the speed of service and money in a matter of minutes. I should have read the reviews before i tried. It takes days before the transaction even gets approved. I sent money using my checking acct but decided to cancel after finding out it would take 1 week before getting cleared.     Xoom is absolutely the worst service I've ever used. Customer service is non-existent, don't expect answers to your emails, not worth the money even with coupon, the services are not cheap despite what you think, there are free services out there that are much better. Money takes forever to go through even with credit card or paypal payment. You get charged fees on your credit card you don't even know what for, some of my transfers got reversed for no reasons, again don't expect customer service ...

    I did a bank transfer from the Us to Canada and now it has been 3 weeks and money has not arrived. The customer service is based in phillipines abd those guys have no clue or decision making powers. I am still talkin to xoom everyday and has not been ressolved. Please do not use this service unless you are sending in money for your retirement.

    My father was ill in india and they needed money within 3 days. I used to send money directly to my father's account through Xoom service. What i needed to do is just click on authorize button after going to my xoom account because i already saved all account information their. This time I did the same thing but after clicking authorize I found My father's account detail automatically omittted and transaction processed though home delivery (which cost 8 USD).     I am sending money most for more than 6 months and now my last 6 transaction is not accepting.

    I am asking Xoom.com but they dont give me clear or specific reasons.

    I called them but I need to wait almost 40minutes to answer them....

    Need some improvements and transactions are very important to us

    After several successful transactions with Xoom It was fine, and now placing a new order it was cancelled dont know why, I try and try and try again still they cancelled it!We tried using another account with Xoom , still the same they cancelled it!! What went wrong???

    I hope that Xoom will clarify this issues or else they should stop their business this is soo terrible and sounds unsafe, unreliable at all.

    This is the worst service I ever had. I sent US$200.00 and took 20 days to do so. After several complains they sent me a form necesary for the deposit, according to them, and when the transfer was done the account where the money was deposited was charged a fee. I will never use Xoom again!
