I would always recommends Xoom for sending money to India. Before xoom i was using ICICI's Money2India, they are also good but not like xoom in terms of exchange rate and time to transfer money to beneficiary account. ICICI is almost taking 5 days to transfer money to beneficiary account whereas Xoom is taking few hours. Xoom really made my life easy. Unfortunately I can only send money to my relatives, and not to my accounts, or to religious Org's due to regulations.
