    Im a hair stylist and a salon owner of 3 salons in Leeds town centre.

    i've used nearly every quaslity brand ouththere from ghd,t3,babyliss, and chi,they are fine,and do a good job but my personal opinion is that their prices are inflated and you dont need to spend tons of money to get stunning results.

    A client actually recommended SCP Tourmaline Medium Mk 5.3 and when I tried I could not beleive the results they are genuinely salon professional tools at a REALLY sensible price. All my salons now stock them and I advise any client who asks about straighteners to use the medium straightener for normal hair and the wide plates for really long or thick hair.

    Absolutely fantastic straighteners!

    Dont understand some of the comments on here but I have had my SCP Tourmaline Medium Mk 5.3 straighteners for 4 months and they have been the best £40 i have ever spent on my hair! Keeps my hair straight for days and straightens my hair really really quickly as good as ghd (which I had a par and broke before my SCP's) and less than half the price of them!

    I have been looking for a good quality, not too expensive brand of hair straighteners for a while now, and came across SCPs on the internet. I ordered them in Pink, and they arrived within a few days.
    I'm really, really pleased with them! They are not quite as good as GHDs, which is to be expected, but still fabulous, especially for the price. The only thing I would say is that sometimes a strand or two of hair can get stuck under the plates, so it can pull it out now and then.

    Comment: I know i'm a boy but i have long hair with very curly hair, and i've had to put up with some awful cheap straightners from boots, and they broke after a while thanks to my dog. so i had to borrow a friends pair of GHD's whilst i looked for a new pair. and i chose the SCP - Tourmaline Medium Mk 5.3 and my hair nows straight all the time and they heat up quickley aswell so when in a rush it's non time consuming. i've already recommended my friends and they are having the same experience a ...

    customer services disappointing i have been waiting 5 weeks for them to sort out my faulty pink straighteners that i returned at the beginning of sept i have just received a cheap pair as an alternative but these seem half the price of mine

    They are FANTASTIC I was looking for something like GHDs and found these, which IMO are even better and the hair stays straighter for longer. The plates just glide through your hair. My hair is very curly and these made it completely straight.

    After being an avid GHD customer for many years, on trying these straighteners, they are actually better, both on my daughters thick hair
    and on my fine hair. A fantastic product at a reasonable price.
