I used these guys twice, the first time the ticket turned up and was fine, had a brill night, the second time I bought a ticket to see depeche mode, and now a week before the event, I have been told, that the ticket was a fake, Now, I am a reasonable person, but as the tickets are expensive and they have let me down, they should be bending over backwards to make it up to me, there are refunding the ticket, 111 pounds, and they are giving me half the money back on another ticket, but, really... I booked tickets through 'get me in' in December for Lana Del Rey in May. Everything seemed good, I got standing tickets, which I wanted and the price wasn't too bad. I was told to return my tickets special delivery so there was no risk of them getting lost in the post. I returned on the 08/05/13. However I received back today on 17/05 saying Adressee gone away. Having received a few emails from Getmein telling us 'not to worry' as they aim to send the tickets out a week before the event we assumed that all would be o.k -WRONG!!! Bought 3 tickets from Get Me In and advised I could get a refund - over £200 spent and have returned twice to the company - both times returned undelivered - extra cost of £14. Bought 2 tickets (Total £237) to see Pink at LG Arena on 22 April but sadly this concert was cancelled due to Pink being ill. An email from Get me in was received to say that this concert will not be rescheduled so return the tickets(£46 each)by recorded delivery or special delivery to their London address by 13 May for a refund. Went to see One Direction last night in Birmingham with a friend and our 2 daughters who received the tickets from Father Christmas. I got a pink ticket for a friend, we was going to pink as a group due to a friend going into hospital for a while. I ordered a Pink ticket on the date they was released for standing. Easy to order and reasonably price However 2weeks before the event they decided to tell me that acutually it was listed wrong and was seated. It was always going to be close but 2 days before the gig our one direction tickets arrived via ups. If you live out of town or are of a nervous disposition this might be all a bit much for you, especially with hotels and flights to consider! Plus the tickets cost nearly £50 more than the face value bit having already seen the show we know it's worth it. Would use getmein again but probably for something more local! (read more)

I have not recieved my tickets, UPS have no knowledge as the tickets have not been supplied to them and I am now at a 2nd attempt to call them. And I have been waiting for 60mins and still no sign of an answer. I will take the matter up via a consumer group if this continues. My advice for anyone, is avoid these folks. (read more)

Getmein is a secondary site. People are free to list tickets at whatever price they want. You have a choice wether or not you buy them and in this case you chose not to. Why on earth are they scum of the Earth? I'm not sure I understand what they have done wrong? You have not conducted any business with them apart from look at the prices on their site. Why are reviews like this allowed?

I also ordered " tickets last july, block A row c! same problem, they called me to say seller did not have the tickets, they offered me block D at the back, with 40% discount on further purchase, I did not accept this and contacted trading standards as they are in breach of codes of practice, they are meant to offer equivellent or better tickets. Block A row C where on their website for £2,000 each when they told me they where no longer available! I have contacted their disputes manager advising them I am persuing loss of bargain, and will also persue for any monies i will pay pout for replacement tickets at their cost. If this can not be sorted by them Trading standards will be taking my complaint further for me! I now have two 16 year olds, hotel booking and trains with no tickets for the concert.

I feel your pain as on Saturday i got recorded delivery went to sign before I did I notice nothing was in the letter so didn't sign. I wrote to the dispute manager (via email) they replied saying send the letter to them so they can investigate as they seen i didn't sign. But all they company says is where 3rd party we can't take blame for tickets so I hope to get my money back very soon

To dispell a common myth. Ticket master do not hold tickets over to sell on Get me in. It's much more insideous than that. Please follow this.... They sell a £40 ticket. They Take a percentage from the ticket cost for sale, they then Add their fees when selling. So now the ticket is, say £45 to the buyer. By now they've already made at least £10. They then encorouge people to sell the same ticket on their sister website Getmein. They add on 10 % to the sellers sale price And advertise... (read more)

What nonsense! How does Ticketmaster "encourage" people to sell their tickets? You can sell a ticket from Getmein which has been bought from any source (not just Ticketmaster).
You have to pay a booking fee and postage from wherever you buy your tickets. (These companies can't work for fee you know.)
Buy a ticket from eBay and you have no guarantee whatsoever of getting your ticket, or a refund if the ticket doesn't turn up. The amount of postage you pay is up to the seller to decide, but it's very rarely free. The seller has to pay eBay and Paypal fees, so has to work that into the price they are asking. Getmein has the might of Ticketmaster behind it - at least you know that if something goes wrong you will get a refund.
Getmein uses UPS for secure and rapid delivery. Not cheap, but at least it's safer than Royal Mail.

I clicked on the website link for 'GetMeIn' from Ticketmaster, assuming they were a ligitimate ticket seller. I chose specific seats in the venue and purchased them several months before the concert (which is tomorrow by the way). After a great deal of concern and phone calls to GetMeIn and UPS (the delivery company) I finally received my tickets yesterday. I am very annoyed with this company, and I don't understand why they have not yet been shut down? Selling FAKE tickets to fans who are desperate to see their idol. These so called legal sites have improved fraudulent ticket sales but they charge way too much, They take a percentage from the person selling the tickets then also charge a processing fee, shipping fee...etc... to the person Buying the tickets. These companies then put these costs down to rubbish like protection guarantee, providing a transparent market place, dedicated customer service! ...More like making a percentage! As an ex employee of Ticketmaster, I can confirm that the tickets on getmein have never been put up for general sale, and are retained by Ticketmaster for the purposes of selling on getmein at hugely inflated price. It's all done in a covert way to avoidbfraud. But it's so obvious by the charging of a handling fee. eBay don't make the buyer pay a buying fee, the seller pays. But on getmein that wouldn't work because they'd be charging themselves. It's a double whammy ripoff. Greed rules here.

Nonsense! Having sold several unwanted tickets on Getmein I can honestly say this is not how it works. I don't, and never have worked for Ticketmaster!!! There are thousands of tickets for sale for events that Ticketmaster was never the agent for - how do you explain that? Ebay don't charge the seller a handling fee - but they do charge a listing fee, and they also take a percentage of the payment which goes through Paypal. Getmein don't charge a listing fee, neither do they deduct anything from the payment - so it's swings and roundabouts.

I sold a ticket through GetMeIn this summer, as I could not attend the event. After several weeks I hadn't received payment in my Paypal Account. I bought 2 tickets to see George Michael at The Royal Albert Hall as I had missed the opportunity to do so prior to his bout of pneumonia. Purchased tickets via Get me in around June 12 for his September date - so relatively last minute & Couldn't find tickets anywhere else. Booked tickets for my 19th birthday a year n half ago and three tickets cost £257. Good seats too. It was booked for Friday 21st September 2012 but on the Monday, I got a call from a rep who said that there was a problem with the seller and that my tickets had been cancelled because the sellers tickets were for collection only from the box office using the original card holder details. GETMEIN are very bad people and completely incompetent. When contacted by GET ME IN they suggested the performance I was selling tickets for was at Royal Albery Hall obviously a misspelling but also the incorrect venue for the actual event.
On the GETMEIN site there is also no way of removing bank/Credit card details.

I was selling tickets on this website for capital fm's summertime ball... They were high priced "ball-zone" tickets. I sold one. They forwarded me a late order during the queens diamond jubilee so obviously was unable to post on a bank holiday... The time the post offices opened on Wednesday my order had been cancelled with a snotty email from a very poorly trained customer service rep. I listed 6 jimmy Carr tickets on your the site and also on eBay , they sold on eBay approximately 5 weeks ago , at that time 5 weeks ago I went onto getmein and logged into my account and went to my listings, I then changed the listings live box by removing the tick, and updating the page, as far as I was concerned the tickets were removed from your site? Until I received an email yesterday to say I needed to dispatch the sold tickets. I did everything correctly I don't know how what has happened.

I tried to sell tickets through Get Me In but UPS were unable to collect due to lack of information. Get Me In have since made threats to charge 2 and a half times the origanal price to resupply the tickets to the purchaser. Do not use these very bad people. (read more)

If you didn't give them enough information to allow UPS to collect the tickets what do you expect? Think about the poor person that paid for the tickets but didn't receive them. Getmein is charging you that money so they can compensate the buyer. Getmein is behaving totally correctly - it's YOU who is in the wrong here.

Getmein NEVER componsate buyer they always think of excuses.... I recieved tickets before AFTER event, but cause I got tickets I wasn't in titled to 150% refund as promised by terms of sale.... In fact they made me feel "lucky" just to get my money back after 3weeks of arguing,..... Who has actually got 150% back???

If supplying them with full name and address with postcode, company name and two telephone numbers is not enough then what is?

hi what was the outcome of this?I too am being threatened by the! they're saying i have to pay 150% in compensation to the buyer of some tickets!! its a joke. long story short I listed tickets on getmein and ebay about 2 months ago the tickets sold on ebay a couple of weeks later, so i logged into getmein and removed them by clicking the live box and updating page (as they said to do) that i thought was the end of it untill yesterday ive received an email saying i need to dispatch the tickets?!

Ordered my tickets to reading festival this year with GetMeIn - never again! After they confirmed my tickets were being delivered, I waited in to receive them. When nothing arrived, I tried to contact their offices, but was faced with automated answering machines. I spent my whole lunch hour the next day on the phone with no one answering. Be very careful with this website. I ordered and paid for 2 tickets for the script and have only received one. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to customer services - all answers are automated do you can't actually speak to anyone - and they will advise to call Sales (no number exists) or UPS if you have a number - why would i call UPS to ask where my second ticket is? Just saying something is bad without explaining why isn't really a review is it. I'm guessing you probably bought for the wrong event or something equally stupid and now want your money back but have found that you can't. Same as every other ticket agency in the UK. My advice is to stay away from computers.

When Blink 182 announced their new tour a few years back my sister (as a Christmas present) purchased the tickets off Ticketmaster for me, the event date was then changed and I was no longer able to attend due to the fact it clashed with my exam period at university. We bought tickets online with 'Getmein' in Feb., it's now 3 days before the concert @ O2 London and still no tickets. Very worrying and disappointing.
However, the good news is that Lloyds Bank ( Mastercard) will dispute this with 'Getmein' and recover the £500 paid, so they said today!
