Good Points: All your compost is fully enclosed so that vermin such as rats cannot gain access. This means that all types of kitchen waste including waste meat, cheese, etc which would otherwise attract rats, mice, etc. can be composted safely and securely.

Bad Points: About 10 years ago, the restraining strap holding the legs apart broke, so I built a wooden frame to hold the legs together so that they didn't splay. Other than that, it still works as well as it did when we first bought it.

General comments: We have been using a Blackwall Compost Tumbler to compost all of our organic waste [apart from poo] for 22 years and it still going strong. We have to empty it 2 or 3 times a year. We use a MaxAir basket & Biobags to collect the kitchen waste. The biobags are made of a biodegradable starch-based polymer so rot down in the composter to leave no residue. If the compost seems a little slow to break down the organic wastes, I collect some urine and add that to provide some additional nitrogen. This system, which I can fully recommend, means that no organic wastes enter our wheelie bin for disposal to landfill.
