The Eurostar.com website is easy to use and you just need to follow the logical steps that it takes you through. You select your departure place and then your travel destination and then your preferred times from the sub nav bar on the left of the homepage. A number of different pricing options are then presented to you ranging from non-flexible to fully flexible tickets. I would recommened the non-flexible tickets if you are sure of the dates you want to travel and know that you won't have to change your arrangements. This is purely because the non-flexible tickets are therefore that much cheaper! The Eurostar service is now also carbon neutral at no extra charge to you when you book online which I think is great. The Eurostar.com homepage does seem a little busy to me but that is just my personal taste but it does highlight current offers, destination guides and some more corporate stuff like press releases etc so you can normally find what you want after scrolling your way down. Payment is quick easy and secure and you do not have to be a 'member' so no need to remember a login and password details for something which you may only use occasionally, you just simply go through the booking process as a 'guest'. The tickets are sent promptly and you receive an email confirmation as soon as your booking has been made with a booking reference number should you need to contact customer services. On the one occasion I did need to contact customer services, I found them to be very polite and helpful. I was meant to have been travelling to Paris for work at the time when the fire broke out in the tunnel in September 2008 and my money was refunded to my card immediately. From the two experiences I have had of booking through Eurostar.com I would recommend the service as a much quicker, convenient and more comfortable alternative to flying.
