“Excellent service by Footprints”

★★★★★

written by on 18/01/2014

We planned our first trip to Vietnam with some initial reservations as this was our first foray into a third world country. We were attracted to Footprints after searching on the internet based on their advocacy on responsible tourism and positive reviews. Once in Hanoi, we even visited their office in Hanoi and liked what we saw. The Footprint tema members were very friendly and knowledgeable. We left the place with a good feeling that we would be well taken care of. We were thoroughly impressed by the service quality of the Footprints team. We visited Ha No, Hoa Lu, Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Nhatrang, and Saigon during our 2 weeks tour. In all we stayed at 6 hotels, spent one night on the boat in Halong Bạy, and hopped on 2 short flights (Vietnam Airline)to tour the country. The tight schedule of our trip unfolded without a hitch, thanks to the meticulous planning of the Footprints team. At every city we visited, we were greeted by friendly and knowleadgeable local guides. The coordination between Footprints and their local guides was seamless (thanks to the mobile phones!). Footprints called to check on us at different destinations and when we decided to make some last minute changes during our itinerary, Footprints complied gladly and arranged for appropriate resources to meet our needs. We left Vietnam with many beautiful memories, and will use Footprints again when we return in the future. We recommend Footprints without reservation.

“Short trekkings in North Vietnam”

★★★★★

written by on 08/06/2012

★★★★★

written by smilingfred on 06/06/2012

We have booked a 2-weeks stay in Vietnam. (April 2010) Hanoi - Sapa - Halong Bay, Hu , DMZ, Hoi An. Everything was well organised. The guides and the personel of Footprint was friendly and helpful. The homestay in Sapa was really nice. Even when I was sick one day, it was no problem to adapt the program a little bit.
The boat in Halong Bay was magnificent. We have had no problems at all with this travel agency. The driver, and guided were always on time! The payment was correct. And they answered on all of our questions before booking.
I really would recommand this travel agency!

Footprint were very helpful from the first contact I made with them on line in the UK and this continued throughout. Everything was as they said and the guides were good, the quality of everything was of a high standard. They are probably not the cheapest but were worth it. We did have one or two problems but this were sorted as quickly and efficiently as possible. We would recommend them as a tour company particularly if you want to use a Vietnam based company.

Excellent Vietnamese travel company that we booked our honeymoon to Vietnam with. The tailor-made our trip as per our specification and we found them flexible and very helpful throughout the period of booking. As well as very reasonably priced in comparison to booking with a UK based agency. When we arrived everything exceeded our expectation, they were extremely welcoming, the few tour guides were very friendly, all our internal flights and trips organised were punctual and as expected. The hotels were all great. Would def use again and recommend others considering a trip to Vietnam and wanting to to tour to use them also. www.footprintsvietnam.com/
