On 29th October 2007, I posted some change of signatories for the bank account for the local Rainbow Guides unit that I run. On 21st December I phoned up to enquire about where they were with it and got a load of waffle, but nothing useful. Today (21st Jan) I phoned up and they said that the case had been opened on the 24th December and it would take 4-5 weeks from there and promised me a managers phone call.
