    i booked with Apollo travel 2 years ago and had no problems ,however i booked to go with them this year and have just found out they have ceased trading ,we are due to fly on the 11 june and still no tickets and no one answering the customer phone line so dont know if were going on holiday or not and no one has been bothered to write or phone to tell us anything

    Unable to get through to Apollo Travel new telephone number. Becoming worried as to whether they are still operating.

    Suprize, suprize, the package holiday that I booked through Apollo travel didn't go quite according to plan. On arrival at the hotel I was informed that they were overbooked and I was then sent to stay in another hotel for two nights. Before travelling Apollo travel had informed me that I had entered into a contract with them when I booked the holiday so I'm looking forward to seeing how they now honour their contractual obligations.

    I have booked my holidays with Apollo travel for over 10 years now and will continue to do so. I have always received the most outstanding service from their staff and have recommended the company to many of my friends / colleagues.

    I'm usually a very placid easy going person but these people have certainly brought out the worst in me. I feel I've been overcharged by £965.00 for my holiday by booking through them and apparently according to Apollo there is nothing I can do as I agreed the price with them at the time of booking. Believe me there is a lot I can do so watch this space, I don't care if they withdraw the holiday, in fact I would be very pleased if they did.

    Once we booked they bumped up the price (last time I checked that was against trading standards but who's going to argue - they could always withdraw the holiday!)
    In the initial paper work they confused my partner's and my surnames. Tickets have STILL not arrived! (its Monday and we fly Friday!) and I am not convinced that they have sold us the right transfer - hence staying on hold so long!

    I won't we using them again.
    Took at least 30 mins to answer the phone, then gave me the wrong information so I had to ring back. Didn't seem to care after they'd sold me the holiday.

    Having just had the most awful news regarding my holiday I was absolutely furious, my accommodation, flights and even date of departure had changed!
    I called Apollo travel to confront them over these matters. Initially I spoke to a very pleasent young lady who dealt with my enquiry efficiently and I then spoke to her colleague who advised me of the reason for the changes. I have to admit that I feel that for once someone actually took there time to listen to my issues and my god were they big i ...

    Apollo travel were very friendly and the Admin department dealt with my problem promptly. The ticketing department were happy to help me in any way they could. No bad points. Would recommend.

    Apollo Travel were very quick to answer the phone but didn't accept any responsibility afterwards. Everything looked great, but then they put the price up after the had sold it to me.
