This food has been an absolute life saver for our elderly Jack Russell who suffers from pancreatitis. We have struggled to find a low fat food which does not upset her digestive system and produces normal solid poo and we were so pleased to find this really works. It is good quality food and, whilst quite expensive, worth every penny to us. Would recommend it to anyone whose dog has digestive problems. Thank you Burns… Read Full Review

I feed my 9 year old weimeraner with the hypo allergenic mixer and naturediet. She loves these biscuits and this is the best food you can give to your dog. Bit pricey, but then again, you only get what you pay for… Read Full Review

My border collie started suffering with constipation and diarrhoea when she was 3. Having tried every single thing I could think of I went to the vets because she was becoming so thin. After nearly £1,500 worth of surgery, biopsies and head scratching I was informed that they didn't actually know what was wrong with her other than 'yes, she does seem to have some sort of stomach agrivating aliment'. I was loaded down with drugs for her and told to feed her the Hills science diet. Disaster… Read Full Review

I have a Bichon frise who is 2 years old, when we got her she was being fed on pedigree and we wanted to change her on to better quality food, so I looked around and founds burns. It really is good not only is it the only dog food my dog can now eat as she has irritable bowel syndrome but it cleared up her tear stains. The only thing is it is more expensive then supermarket dog food but it is GREAT value for money… Read Full Review

After trying various foods for my 14week cocker spaniel to try and get rid of constant liquid poo which was making it very difficult to train her i started her on burns puppy mini bites. After only three days we now have a happy puppy who no longer constantly needs to go out. Solid poo twice a
day and sleeps all night. Excellent value for money. Highly recommendable… Read Full Review

This review is for the moist dog food as my dog doesn't like the kibble but she loves the moist, especially the egg flavour. Although it's expensive, it's worth every penny for a dog who isn't fussed about food, she simply loves this. It looks much more like human food than other dog food. She's a 7 month old Shih Tzu and this food is okay for all dogs over 6 months. The only problem was the price but each pouch should last 2 days for a puppy at around £1.60 a pack, well worth it if your dog… Read Full Review

I recommend this to everyone.
Their food suits all types of dogs. We have an old lab and a youngish collie. The lab is on the senior working dog and the collie on the high energy working dog.
And the other thing is they don't use battery chickens which to me is very important as I don't see why another animal should suffer for mine.
Seems expensive when you first buy a sack but it lasts 3 times longer than Bakers : ) and there isn't as much poo! : )… Read Full Review

My rescue Springer is nine years old. Ever since I had him at eighteen months he has tended to have overly soft stools. Typically, his first poo of the day would be okay but thereafter they would be very soft or liquid. He was fed on Pro Plan dried food. A couple of years ago, I changed to Burns lamb and rice. Ever since then, he has lovely firm stools… Read Full Review

I own a boarding kennel (and have seven dogs of my own), we have been using Burns for about 5 years now, an excellent product. I stock Pork and Potato, Lamb and Rice, Chicken and Rice and the last two also in the Alert range[vat free].
As I wish all my Clients dogs to be fed on Burns when they stay here I also sell it so that there is no change of diet when they arrive and hopefully therefore no upset tummies.
What's most popular? Well certainly Pork and Potato followed by the Lamb… Read Full Review

My Border Collie Tessa is 10 years old and has been on Burns since she was a pup. Comments on her shiny coat have been numerous. She has always been well in health. We now have a two year old male border collie as well also on Burns Chicken and Brown rice. His coat is also coming along beautifully. People often say why pay so much for their food you can get this and that much cheaper. I feel it's the difference between stuffing your dog with junk food or good food - don't just buy the… Read Full Review

We took on an abandoned westie with skin problems (think thats why she was abandoned)the groomer we took her to recommended Burns Fish and brown rice, after a few months her skin showed a great improvement and she seemed a lot happier, like a fool I changed her food to chicken and brown rice to give her a change, Burns then James Wellbeloved, the skin problem came back with a vengeance, vet bills mounted up, so we have now gone back to Burns Fish and brown rice, so far touch wood another BIG… Read Full Review

I bought this food after doing some research. We have a Lab puppy, who seemed to swing from being calm to hypo. He had been on Iams, so we tried Purina, but I still felt his mood changed too quickly. After being on Burns, he is now a lot calmer and does as he his told, although he still has is moments, which you would expect with a puppy. He doesn't need to go to the loo as often, which is a plus and no stinky wind. The food is well worth the extra cost… Read Full Review
