Good Points: Cheaper than other sites I had checked for same hotel. Instant confirmation of booking.

Bad Points: Very difficult to contact by phone. Anonymous reply to my e-mail query.

General comments: I became very wary of this site having read reviews regarding same. I had already booked 2 nights with this company and money was already taken from credit card so contacted hotel directly a few weeks ago to be told they did not have a booking for my 2 rooms. I explained the situation to the hotel reservations person and they informed me that some of the internet sites do not forward names until 2 or 3 days prior to checking in date and to phone again nearer our date of arrival. She also informed me that the hotel was now fully booked for my required dates. I tried to contact the company by phone but got no reply, so i e-mailed them explaining my concerns and got a reply from" nobody" to tell me my booking was secure.
I was delighted when I phoned 3 days prior to date of booking that my rooms were indeed available to me and fully paid for. On arrival at hotel I was told that the double room I had requested was unavailable due to overbooking, needless to say I was not very happy. I was assured this was due to an error by one of the hotel staff and not "cheaphotelsresorts", however when I explained to them that I had phoned 3 days prior to this and was told my booking was secure they upgraded me to a luxury suite at no extra cost. I had already saved a substantial amount by booking through this site so was absolutely thrilled.
Despite my previous worries about this site, due to my most favourable outcome I would use this site again, and would recommend it to friends but would tell them to read other reviews so they could make their own minds up whether or not to use it.

We booked and paid for a London Hotel but had to cancel due visa problems. We did receive an email saying the costs would be refunded and credited to our card. That was over a month ago! Phoned at least 12 times and got cut-off every time. Have sent 7 emails with no reply to date.
I cannot recommend cheaphotelsresorts.....

I booked a hotel through cheaphotelsresorts.com 2 months in advance and paid using credit card. A week later I found many bad reviews about this website, so then I tried to call them using the phone numbers provided, but unsuccessful.

Next, I cancelled my booking and I received an email from "Nobody" (... yes that's the name appearing in my inbox), saying my booking has been cancelled and the money should be returned within 3 weeks (but never been returned despite many emails to them asking for ...

I booked a hotel about 2 months in advance. They charged my credit card immediately when I booked. When the day came, I turn up at my hotel but was told it's overbooked and there's no room for me. The hotel put us in another hotel of a lower standard. When I got back from my holiday tried getting a refund. Difficult to telephone as I'm always cut off and always get blame for a bad line and the people I have talked to were very unhelpful I feel. My emails have not yet been responded to it seems. ...

I made a reservation through this site early in June 2008 but 20 days later contacted the hotel but no reservation was made with them for those dates under the website or my name etc. The cheaphotelsresorts website was down for a lengthy period and so I called them to query the reservation but have been either disconnected whilst on hold or cut off when put through. I would never deal with Cheap Hotel Resorts again. Luckily I paid with my CC and so can expect a full refund.

Found this site on comcast travel as a sponser site, so I used it. It is no longer listed there. Used it got good price.
I cancelled because of no customer service, got a reply 3 days later stating refund would come in 7 days. Over 2 weeks I'm still waiting for the refund and responses to my e-mails.

I will definitely stay there again when I return to Budapest and would recommend this hotel to anyone other than the most fastidious even though it is only 3 star. don't be put off by adverse reviews

Where to begin for me...
Telephone numbers given are either hardly answered in my experience or a garbled answer type message is given then you're cut off.
Emails for me have not yet been replied to it seems.
Payment - it seems from self and others - not yet been refunded for me.
Therefore I do not recommend CheapHotelResorts.com

I was charged twice for my holiday and have been trying to get a refund since February but cant seem to be able contact the company. In desperation I contacted my bank and was refunded within 5 days. What a result. Don't give up on other cases!

My main issue is that companies should not process payment until they can assure the accommodation for the dates you requested. Once this is confirmed with the hotel, they should then debit you card for their service.

The problem here is that cheaphotelsresorts.com are very quick to take payment but seem to disappear when they owe money.

I have tried calling all their numbers with no answer and tried to fax however their fax also had a connection error. Email is the only form of contact but t ...

I booked an hotel in Spain through cheaphotelsresorts.com and used my Visa card... when we arrived at the hotel nobody recognised the reservation or this service so we had to pay again... but cheaphotelsresorts.com charged me the whole amount...for 3 nights...and they have not replied to any e-mails that I am aware of, phone calls etc.

Hotel booked on 30th April 2008 but canceled on 1st May 2008 however payment taken from us and still not reimbursed yet as far as I am aware

Will never use again and do not recommend cheap hotel resorts.com

Booked a hotel in February and my account has been debited twice for £1234.80 as far as I am concerned. So have tried to contact them phone and e-mail but have had no response yet as far as I am aware. Therefore I do not recommend cheap hotel resorts.com.

My wife is partially disabled. I have back problems. Resort Hoppa left us 1 K from our hotel with no instructions how to get there as far as I am aware? I got what I payed for in my opinion. I felt I received unhelpful customer service. Not interested in my opinion. The worst holiday site I personally have ever used. Therefore I do not recommend Cheathotelresorts.com.

I arrived late last night with my family, I have 2 kids and my wife and I thought my accommodation was ok. We are booked at Tradewinds hotel and was looking for the hotel till 1am and just to find out the hotel does not exist as far as I am concerned and I really got a lot of hassles because of this website where I booked on line that I even received confirmation and voucher for the payment of the hotel but just went in vain.
Hope this will be investigated and do not recommend Cheaphotelsresorts ...

It ha been difficult to contact them by phone, I got the message "the number you have dialed is disconnected" or something similar, sometimes I can hear a music and if you are very very like will speak with someone that will forward your call, once and again. Later they told me that I got that message due to congestion.
Using E-mail thought their web page is not much useful in my experience.
I will either get no response or an anonymous mail similar to : "Thank you for your e-mail. ...." as far ...

Great price and only site to have availability at my chosen hotel. Was concerned at lack of response to emails and could not get through on phone at all so was worried in my case. No need to be though as I had a fab time - hotel and price super. Would have given 10 out of 10 if I could have had telephone contact!

If you use their services I advise you not to contact them, the phone lines are poor sometimes are disconnected and the phone operates when they don't answer as far as I am concerned to get you to put the phone down...

I too booked a specific hotel and rooms were not available. The full amount was taken from my account even though the reservation was not confirmed. This was on 12 February and despite phone calls, faxes etc. I have not yet had my money refunded. Now there is no way of getting through to the phone lines. Very worrying.

I have booked recently a hotel in Tokyo and to my surprise they have charged me twice as far as I am awar. I wanted to cancel my reservation and I have not received any news by e-mail. I have tried to contact them through the phone and both numbers in Uk leads to inactive phone numbers. In US there is no answer as far as I am concerned therefore Ido not recommend Cheap Hotel Resorts.com
