I was so desperate to buy tickets for Jeff Lynne, which came out at 9am, 13 Nov 2015, that I didn't realise I had come off the site I wanted to purchase from, and had been directed to Seatwave. I bought the tickets within 10 minutes of them being available, and paid £150 each, with an astonishing £70 admin fee plus £10 postage. “Terrible customer service ”

I had a terrible experience buying tickets from Seatwave. I purchased 2 tickets at 3 times their face value which included postage and handling fees, and over a month in advance of the event. I kept checking the website to see when the tickets would be dispatched, and as it got nearer to the event I became very anxious especially given the event was just after the bank holiday weekend. “Over pricing”

If a ticket is valued at 45 pound then two tickets will cost 238 is that right. Thats how much we paid for two tickets to the O2 to see Muse. The wife purchased the tickets for my birthday and used seatwave for the first and only time. I know a company has to make money and in selling the tickets it will need staff overheads etc but I just think that over 100 % market up is excessive. “Worst customer service Ive ever seen”

“Booking fee and delivery charge too high”

“Unprofessional awful service ”

I ordered two Circue Du Soleil tickets on 17th February. It was my first time purchasing this sort of thing and felt proud that I had managed to do so until the tickets actually arrived. They were student tickets and had student printed across the top. I emailed Seatwave and had a really condescending guy tell me it was my fault as he claimed I should have known. Did your confirmation email from Seatwave state that you were buying student tickets? If not, you are covered by Seatwave's guarantee that you will receive the tickets you ordered and should expect a full refund.

Purchased 2 SCD tickets, no communication from seller tickets arrived were not what I ordered. After several phone numbers and attempts managed to get through to Seatwave They did say they'd look into it and ring me back. No phone call came back other than an email saying I had to prove that the tickets I received were incorrect. I bought 300€ tickets for Adele in 2016 Amsterdam for a very specific location. The confirmation mail does not mention any location and they can basically place me anywhere they want. When I call the customer service the reply I get is "they have the most trustworthy system and you probably bought tickets without a location". Seatwave don't actually have ANY tickets. They act as a platform for people wanting to buy or sell tickets. I think they are trying to tell you that you bought tickets that didn't have a specific location listed on their website - ie they just said 1e ring, or 2e ring without specifying the exact block. Hopefully, you printed out a copy of your booking and will be able to use this as proof that you did book a specific block.

“Dreadful customer service”

You can tell the quality of a company by the way in which it deals with errors. Having taken several hundred pounds of my money, they have refused to refund me, despite sending me incomplete tickets which meant being turned away from O2.Be aware that they will not take responsibility for tickets as they are sold through a third party and if there is a problem you will have to jump through endless (and, in my case, impossible hoops)in order to get your money back… Read Full Review

I have recently been tricked by Seatwave having bought tickets for this weekend trying to track them through UPS. We have spent a fortune on a hotel in London to stay over and go and see Bob Dylan at the Albert Hall. They have assured me the money would be paid back directly into my sons account as yet nothing and reading all the reviews I am not very hopeful. I will only ever use Ticketmaster from now on and never use Seatwave again they have succeeded in ruining my weekend and we are hundreds of pounds out of pocket, I think something needs to be done about these people and I will be contacting Action Fraud after this weekend if we do not get a full refund as a full investigation needs to be done of this awful set up.

I ordered a ticket for a Soccer match. Upon receiving the confirmation via e mail, it clearly stated the ticket would be posted to me and I was charged for delivery accordingly. A day before the game my ticket still hadn't arrived! I looked on the website to find there wasn't any contact number listed anywhere. I had to contact their parent company to get their number! I spent over £15 on phone calls chasing up tickets which had not arrived. these tickets were hugely over the face value and ordered in December 2014 for the Ed Sheeran Concert,(July 2015). advertised as sold out , but now tickets available??? Contradictory information given , with no follow up. Check the ticket insurance option as it is not correct ; read the small print. A Big letdown. In November 2014 I heard of a Neil Diamond tour in the UK, my wife would have enjoyed going and I owed her a treat. On-line searches revealed no tickets available from primary sellers, they had all gone! “I paid so much more than the original set price”

Including booking fees I paid £417.00 for 2 x £52.00 tickets to see Ed Sheeran. Knew I was going to pay more by booking through Seatwave but was shocked when I received tickets showing face value. After hearing that Fleetwood Mac announced their UK tour dates, I went straight onto the O2 website as soon as tickets went up for sale. I was referred to 'seatwave'. I thought the prices paid were the norm, until I received my tickets, a few weeks before the event. The ticket price was £140.25 incl VAT. I paid seatwave nearly 3 x the true price.
