Professional service, tickets eventually delivered on time but the courier used (at least in switzerland where I purchased the tickets) will only deliver if someone is at home otherwise tickets will be returned to the sender, this if obviously a problem as very often people are not alway at home. When we got to the venue for the gig, there was also no problem with gaining entry with our e-tickets. So the service was very good - no issues here. Hi there,
Our priority here at Seatwave is to ensure that we get you to the chosen event so we are very careful to follow up any unusual issues that may arise and this would have been one of them.
Seatwave is a marketplace where people can buy and sell tickets. This means that we at seatwave do not sell the tickets ourselves and all the tickets listed come from fans and distributors around the world. We can assure you that we have strict terms and conditions in place to ensure sellers fulfil their orders as advertised. However, in the very unlikely event that a seller is unable to fulfil a sale, seatwave protects the buyer with a ticket guarantee, which means we will step in and try to source replacement tickets regardless of any potential expense to us, as we genuinely care about getting people to live events.
Our main objective was to make sure that you attended the concert.
We as a marketplace have done everything we can to rectify the situation, that was caused by the original seller letting us both down. In recognition of the disappointment experienced we have not only worked incredibly hard in finding a replacement but also paid an additional amount for those as we genuinely cared about getting you to the event.
We are very proud of our company and the way we work, we offer a safe and transparent marketplace and we genuinely care about our customers and their experience.

The reason the price stated on the ticket is different to what you have paid is because seatwave is an online marketplace, where people can buy and sell tickets. Prices are set by sellers when they list their tickets on seatwave.
We believe that fans should have the right to do what they want with tickets they have bought, including selling them at the going market rate if they choose to. Buyers on our platform have access to the same marketplace information, allowing them to make calculated decisions on seat location and the best time to buy tickets. We have several features on our buying page that help you to narrow your search to your specific requirements. We can assure you that the face value is shown for every transaction on the buying page before you go to the next step and enter your payment details and we’re sorry if you feel this was not clear, as we go to great lengths to develop our website and make it as user friendly and transparent as possible.

There is absolutely no need to worry, we at seatwave got your back.

I am sorry but you have offered no evidence to prove that this is a printing error, I can not imagine that a reputable company such as TICKETMASTER would print and send tickets out with the wrong year for some 90 years in the future.
As explained previously; I have no intention of arriving at the concert venue to be laughed at for trying to obtain admission to a gig 90 years away.
Ask yourself this question and be honest with yourself; if you were supplied two tatty pieces of paper with tea/coffee? stains over them with what looks like a photocopy of tickets with the wrong date on them......would you risk taking your wife/partner to a concert bought for their birthday?
Your ticket integrity guarantee is to me a farce beyond anything Alan Rix could have dreamed up.
You have not paid the seller, the concert is in October.........just MAN UP and pay back all the money paid, return the tickets to the seller and save yourself the embarrassment of further bad publicity
Written on: 02/05/2013
Ask yourself this question:
You have bought tickets at vastly inflated prices for a concert in October 2013 for your wife's birthday.
You receive two tatty pieces of paper in the post alleging to be the tickets issued from "Ticketmaster". The tickets are dated for the year 2103 ......90 years in the future.
a)WOULD YOU RISK TAKING YOUR WIFE/PARTNER TO THE VENUE AND RISK BEING TURNED AWAY AS THE TICKETS ARE FOR 90 YEARS HENCE?
OR
b)WOULD YOU ASK POLITLEY THAT A REFUND BE GIVEN AS YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CONFIDENCE THAT THE TICKETS ARE VALID.
It should be noted that I requested a refund and offered to purchase alternative tickets.
Also .........would you be content with the response from seatwave :
Thank you for your patience!
Please be advised, that we investigated the case with our managers and your seller. We came to conclusion, that your tickets are valid and will restrict you from entering the even. As the tickets are valid, we can not issue you refund.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE SEATWAVE RESPONSE IT STATES THAT THE TCKETS WILL RESTRICT ENTRANCE TO THE EVEN.
Am I supposed to assume that these are just typo errors as well?
So seatwave and the seller have consulted and concluded that the tickets are valid............now there is a surprise!
Would a reputable company such as TICKETMASTER who deal with thousands of tickets per annum do a print run with dates incorrect and there be no issues raised on sites such as this? I think not.
Seatwave have not produced one shred of evidence to prove that the tickets are valid, they have not paid the seller, they have taken my money and ask me to trust there ticket integrity guarantee...........this guarantee is useless when you get to a concert and have the embarrassment of being turned away and you have incurred the cost of the tickets (again vastly inflated price and seatwave fees), travel and accommodation.
I am afraid that I am amazed that seatwave are telling me not to worry?
Yes I do worry!!!!!!
Come on seatwave MAN UP issue a full refund, you have not paid the seller, send me a stamped return addressed envelope and you can have these two tatty pieces of paper back you will have lost nothing.
Written on: 02/05/2013
Have you rung ticket master to find out?
Written on: 02/05/2013
Why would I? the question should be; have seatwave contacted TICKETMASTER to verify, they are the one charging the huge fees. It is their obligation to ensure items are fit for purpose............all they can offer is "we have spoken to the seller" forgive me for being a cynic but can not take the word of a complete stranger in an instance such as this
Written on: 02/05/2013
I agree with you. I would hope for a written response from ticketmaster to Seatwave or the seller which could then be passed on to you. Otherwise you're right, I would expect a refund.
Written on: 03/05/2013
I do think Miketip is cutting his nose off to spite his face. Call Ticketmaster, find out if there has infact been a typo. If they confirm that there hasn't then he's in a much stronger position to argue with Seatwave.
Written on: 03/05/2013
Why would I spend my money phoning premium rate numbers to try to sort out someone else's problem. I have already paid seatwave an exorbitant fee for this and will not spend another penny of my money sorting out what at the end of the day is there problem.
Seatwave should live up to there guarantee and provide me with irrefutable evidence that the tickets are valid......they can contact TICKETMASTER as easily as I can.
They appear to have declined to comment further......If I were in charge of customer relations I would make every effort to resolve this, as you quite rightly say, with a phone call to TICKETMASTER and an email follow up this could be resolved.
Are seatwave afraid that the tickets are false and just hoping that I will shut up and go away?
I will be writing on every review site and contact forum I can find to disseminate this information.
Over to you seatwave MAN UP do the right thing..........give me my money back..........send me a self addressed stamped envelope and you can have these two tatty pieces of paper back and resell them.
Written on: 03/05/2013
Ofcourse you are correct and Seatwave should be handling this on your behalf but if you want to put yourself in the strongest possible position you need to be armed with all the facts. Knowledge is power! You can call Ticketmaster on 0161 3851229 or 0161 3853211 - neither of these are premium rate numbers.
Writing on review sites may make you feel better but won't solve your problem.
I presume you want a refund and you want to buy fresh tickets in order to attend the gig, therefore the problem IS yours. I strongly suggest you make your own investigations and don't depend on Seatwave sorting this out for you.

While the site is simple and effective the delay in payment is a disappointment. After the sale of two tickets I was notified that I would be paid ten days after the event date, ok not the end of the world but when the ten days were up I received another email saying that they will now make payment via BACS and this could take up to another ten days. Come on Seatwave, everyone knows it takes a max of three days to make a BACS payment. So from the day the tickets sold to when I received the... (read more)

Brilliant night. Jimmy Carr was hilarious. Close to the mark at times but not offensive just really funny. Good audience interaction. Good value for money as was on stage for about 2.5 hours. Would definitely see him again. Seats were excellent - 2nd row in centre. Had to email seat wave as the e tickets hadn't been posted 5 days beforehand. They responded next day & contacted the seller & gave me a 10% refund as they couldn't guarantee the original seats in row A would be available. (read more)

Had tickets for Real Madrid vs Real Betis at Santiago Bernabeu. Were meant to be category B tickets and charged £63.88 per tickets. The tickets I got were not category 2 and had face value of 45 euros. I wasn't happy with mark up in price cosidering on top you pay seatwaves commission and delivery charges. Service and communication from Seatwave was good (read more)

Whenever I have gone to Seatwave for tickets I have always got very good seats the only thing I would say is the prices are extremely higher than the face value although if you are prepared to take a risk and apply for tickets a couple of days before the concerts then they are pretty good prices. I bought here 2 fake tickets for tennis in Monte Carlo. Today we entered to Monte Carlo Country Club, found out ur seats on central court, but they were already taken by someone else. They have bought totaly same e-tickets as we had. We have had troubles with staff + police and they got off us from venue....really stressful experience, which cost more than 300 GBP, Alena (read more)

Hi there,
Our priority here at Seatwave is to ensure that we get you, or in this case, your friend Eric to the chosen event. So we are very careful in following up any unusual issues that may arise, this would be one of them.
Whilst we fully appreciate the disappointment you have experienced, given that the tickets are provided from a third party, we would require the written confirmation from the venue that you were unable to gain entrance as proof in order to be able to proceed actions against the seller.
As Seatwave is a marketplace, we don’t own the tickets, therefore the proof from the venue is needed as we need to pass this information on to the seller. We hope you can understand that this measurement is in place to protect sellers that use our site who supply genuine tickets.
We take our Job very seriously and we share the passion for live events with our customers, this is why we have strict terms and conditions in place for sellers and we will ban any seller who is supplying invalid tickets from our site.
We would like to urge you to contact us through our website and provide us with the written proof so we can do the right thing and refund you the full purchase price and take the appropriate actions against the seller of your tickets as we feel you have been let down.

Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback.
The price printed on the tickets is the face value at which the tickets were originally purchased by your seller.
As we are an online ticket marketplace, your seller will have chosen a price at which they wished to sell their tickets when they listed them for sale. We don't set the prices ourselves.
We always try to provide as much information to our buyers when you're purchasing tickets so you can make an informed choice.
Our interactive maps and ‘View from' enables you to see where the tickets are located and market pricing information is available so you can see how much tickets have been selling for.
We have several features on our buying page that help you to minimise your search. One of the features is a sliding scale price bar where you can even select a maximum price and only the tickets within your selected price range will appear so you can choose exactly how much you would like to spend, without being out of pocket.
We can assure you that the face value is shown for every transaction on the buying page before you enter your payment details.
