My Hairdresser is so good at cutting and styling my hair. He is always courteous, discusses my needs and does what makes me look and feel good! I have fine and difficult hair to style. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family. I liked the whole experience; the wash and conditioner that comes with a massage is very relaxing. Rarely a little bit of water goes down my back and wets my top.

I have been going to my stylist for over 10 years and he does a wonderful job every time. He successfully turned my very dark but greying hair to a beautiful blonde. Staff are really kind and friendly. Salon spotless. Cannot recommend too highly.

Can not recommend the person I dealt with  highly enough. Newly qualified and absolutely brilliant! Grab an appointment with her quickly as I don’t doubt she will be pretty booked up in the run up to Xmas.

Me in a chirpy tone " good morning,do you have anyone available please to do a gents cut and finish this morning at maybe 11am?" Receptionist reply "no..........." me after a bit of stunned silence "erm ok, when else do you have available. .." monotone reply "when else can you do" - dont worry I will go somewhere where they will make me feel I am not putting t g email out and actually want my business!

Had my hair done at Stones recently. Really pleased with result best hairdressing experience I have had in a long time.

Had my hair done and my bridesmaids hair done for my wedding, staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this salon.

The staff are all young and look unprofessional, they look really scanky. The staff room at the back where they mix hair dye is really dirty. The receptionist in particular is really rude. For the prices they are charging the salon and hairdressers should be more professional and classy.

The staff were rude! my hair was cut really badly. I had no layers, it was too short, it was cut uneven!I will definitely not go here again! and to top it all off I was charged an arm and a leg to have my hair ruined!

Stylist was pleasant enough and so were surroundings, but not happy with how my hair was cut, nothing like I had asked for. Ended up going to a hairdressers academy where so much attention was given to my needs, by the student and the tutor; the tutor remarked on how poorly my hair had been previously cut! Also 1/5th of the price I was charged at Stones! Sorry but I do expect more at their prices.

Visit this salon every 5 or 6 weeks.Had my hair done by Sam initally but she is away at the moment. On my last visit the receptionist was less than interested in my next appointment. I found the staff very slow to attend. After colour the hair was washed in cold water, no explanation! A bit of attention to detail wouldnt go amiss,like giving appropriate magazines to customers depending on their age. I do not want teenage magazines. Generally there was an air of couldnt care less, between discussing their private life and ignoring customers.The manager appeared to be there in person but certainly didnt have his eye on the ball.Initally i was very pleased with this salon but am losing faith. It is not inexpensive and i would like to see them pull up their socks.

I visit David the salon manager every six weeks, i have done for the past 4 years. Before that i attended Nicky Clarke's salon London. I have been so happy since finding David at stones i allways feel really looked after and my hair has never been in such good condition. I allways feel dave keeps my hair up to date. The salon is very welcomeing and the reception staff are brilliant. I would recomend this salon to anyone and have done to all my friends

Rude generally unhelpful staff at Stone Hairdressing, messed my hair up big time, staff outside smoking and chatting looks shabby!

Cut hair too short and as wonky as possible. Bleach bled through foils, was told about one spot, got home to be told by my boyfriend there were three more BIG blotches. Pointed out to the hairdresser that I was getting married in June and had therefore let my hair grow and recover from too much colouring. My hair was nearly down to my bum and still in great condition. I wanted about 2 inches off, she took 6!!! I wanted quite a streaky, highlighted, sunkissed look - now that she's screwed up the colour with those bright white blotches I'll either have to find someone to fix it (which I don't think is really possible) or go totally blond, which I really didn't want as streaks look so much better and more effective in photographs. Apart from the fact that she totally messed up the one thing I've been proud of she was also not very friendly or accommodating. I spent 3 hours in that salon, probably 1 of those at the sink waiting for someone to tell me what was happening next, and she didn't make any conversation. Just to top it off I then got to pay 115 for the privilege. When I first left the salon I thought that she'd fixed the (one) blotch she had told me about and would never have thought that the cut may not be straight, but if I'd known any of those things I would never have paid even 5.
