    Metal Gear Sold 4.
    Guns Of The Patriots.
    Ireland: 55 Euro.

My thoughts on this game varied from great too bad, I had suitable mixed emotions about Metal Gear Solid when it first appeared on my local game shelve.
The graphics are unbelievable, the action intense, and storyline dramtic and gripping.

It does detach itself from the previous titles though, it almost feels like a different game compared to the previous Metal Gear Solids.
Stealth isn't really a factor in this game, with an arsenal of games readily available from Drebin's store, accessible through the start menu, meaning you can go in all guns blazing against all your enemies, and when you run out of Ammo, you simply retreat for a few seconds, stock up on Ammo, and run back into the action.

I did enjoy metal gear solid, but too many cut-scenes and the change of atmosphere to the other games made it a less enjoyable feeling.

    4 out of 5 stars.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is an absolutley amazing game, jaw droppingly flawless from start to finish. although new players to the genre may find the storyline a little confusing, for those who have already been exposed to the majic created by the famous hideo kojima, this is nothing less than perfection. there are so many plot twists that hollywood should be ashamed at thier meager attempts at such stories by comparison. legendary gameplay, graphics, storyline and pretty much eve ...

I liked the history and characters on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The new controller system, The Shadow Moses act, The final fight between Solid And Liquid...

Maybe the briefing cut scenes are a little long, no main theme of the saga, Merly, The Outer heaven act was short, it had a lot more potential.

Fitting game of the saga. I hope it will never end.

The graphics are impressive and realistic, the story line was long and very gripping, A truly great ending makes everything come together.
The online experience was the best experience ever so much more to the game, Must play online to truly enjoy the game to its full.
This is one game I couldn't wait to get a hold of and when i did I wasn't disappointed the graphics where amazing so realistic so was the story line, A truly gripping and hard to leave game.

I wish the game company's would focus on bringing us a game that is so incredible you won't stop playing... I thought Haze was on the right track.. with their ideas at least... but the game fell way short.
I think basically copy halo...and the tactical play of Snake...and way better levels... the vehicle play of halo (warthog) and grasshopper. Big levels with jumps to hit utilizing the cars...
A lot of the ps3 fps fall short of flare and a theme that's bad I feel. Halo 3 fell way short... Halo 2 ...

Metal Gear Solid 4 lives up to it's predecessors, and to be honest is much improved. I have obviously only played a sneak preview of the game at conventions but this game looks like it will hit the roof. The graphics are obviously much improved compared to Metal Gear Solid 3, as this is necessary to keep up to date and is expected but I personally would argue that this game betters any other games I have played for the ps3 as everything is so detailed. I have always though rag doll motion of a de ...
