Just The Thing is a brilliant online service for tech-heads or couples looking for a wedding website and gift list combo. We set up a list for our honeymoon and were thrilled with the results. Easy-to-use website building tools. Highly recommended!

We got married abroad, but had our reception in the UK. Just The Thing gift lists worked out perfect as we didn't want to be carrying bulky gifts back home after the ceremony, and as well as that, guests who came to the reception only were able to log-in to see updates on the ceremony. Definitely a great website if you're planning on asking for money instead of the traditional store gift-lists.

Just The Thing Exceeded expectations. Easy to set up website and manage the gifts/money coming in. Took all the akwardness out of asking for cash and our guests seemed to love the site. If I get re-married, would definitely use again

Very happy overall with JusttheThing - a very polite and simple way to ask for cash instead of gifts for our wedding. We nearly had to call our wedding off as my fianc e was made redundant in mid 2008. However a very clever bride-2-be on YAYW Forums suggested we set up a cash gift registry to let our friends & family help with the big day. In the end our list was very unconventional, but everyone loved the fact that they were helping us to have a wedding at all. We got married (in the snow! ...

I didn't really want a standard wedding list as my partner and I currently live together and we've got all the plates, toasters and fondue sets we need. So I was really pleased to find JustTheThing.co.uk because it lets us put up wedding gifts that we wanted and could actually use like money towards our honeymoon. The site was so easy to use as well - you get your own webpage to direct family and friends to so it all feels very personal which is exactly want you want with your wedding list! Every ...

I found www.JusttheThing.co.uk in WebUser's Best New Websites for 2008. The site is good for couples needing a hub for information for their wedding. Being Irish, marrying a French girl in Scotland we had guests coming from the UK, Ireland, France, US and Canada for our wedding.

Having a central site to post wedding news made my life a whole lot easier. Our gift list was a huge help as guest could pay in any currency from their home country and we received a large sum of money to put towar ...

We set up our Engagement Registry with www.justthething.co.uk. Bringing two large families together from three continents for the festivities was always going to be a challenge. Having a central hub for information and messages definitely took the headache out of it for my future hubbie and I. Our party was a huge success and we received lots of compliments on the site. We have already set up our new wedding site and look forward to putting together another gift list in the near future.

Just The Thing is an easy to use website building tool which lets you create a professional looking wedding website for free. If you run a gift list there is a service fee but this can be added to the cost of your gifts so that guests pay it - which is what we did. All-in-all we were very happy with how our list ran and we were able to settle up within a week of our wedding so we had plenty of cash for our honeymoon. Would definitely use them again - just hope I don't have to get married again a ...

Our wedding website was set up just before Christmas with just the thing for our April wedding. Our guests loved the site and we got lots of compliments on the pictures we posted. We were given just over £3900 towards our honeymoon and new home. If you are looking for a cash registry rather than the old JL and Debenham options, then this is definitely one of the best. Many thanks to the customer service team for helping me upload our wedding pics too.

I am an Australian who married an English man and we had our wedding in the U.K. "Just The Thing " was just the thing I needed to organise my big day.
As many of our guests had flown from Australia "Just The Thing," was a perfect set up for those guests who wanted to buy presents. Also our UK guests commented to me how easy the website was to use and that they will be highly recommending it to others. Some even said they were going to use it for themselves.
    I know there are many English/Aussie c ...

I created my own party website with Justthething and when complete it looked so professional and stylish that all my party guests were very impressed. Since then they have been converted too and have been using it for weddings, christenings and birthday parties.

Really easy to use, uploading quick thumbnails made it really easy, plus it was really simple to get the money deposited after the wedding when we were ready to buy.

I rate Just The Thing gift registsry website 10/10.
No other website has offered the same service with flexible options to create your very own website along with a gift registry.

I have set up three websites now including our Christmas party, which basically sent out an invitation to our guests, a website which included photos, greetings and comments, maps, a guest list and a menu.
The site created a personal touch to my party and the gift registry was a bonus for I didn't end up with ten pai ...

A free, colour and subject themed celebration website (Ours was a wedding, but we're starting to build a christening one ahead of a new arrival) When I think about all the tat we've been bought over the years when people have wanted to buy us a gift, but haven't really known what we needed or wanted...We were married in Autumn '07, and as we'd been together 4 years already, all the usual gift list suspects didn't really apply. We'd already got the toasters, teasets and towers of crockery... We d ...
